"Patricia Lee Geygan, nee Sullivan, 91, of Columbus, OH passed away on September 9, 2023 while surrounded by her family. Patricia was born on December 6, 1931 to parents Joseph Sullivan and Bertha Scott. She was married to and divorced from James W. Geygan three times. She retired at age 65 from Sensotec. Her hobbies included drawing, sleeping while standing up, popping her fake teeth out to make faces and scare her children, and convincing her grandchildren that pulling weeds out of her brick patio was a fun game. She loved to party and dance, especially on her birthday. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband James; her daughter Mary Geygan; and her siblings Katie White, James Sullivan, Maxine Dugo, and Joseph Sullivan. She is survived by her brother Michael Sullivan; her children Mark Geygan, Colleen Popp, Theresa Walton, Patricia Gibson, Michael Geygan, Kathleen Ballouz, and James Geygan; her fourteen grandchildren, and her eleven great-grandchildren. The viewing will be held at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home (515 High St. , Worthington, OH 43085) on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 am. Services to follow at 12:00 pm with internment at Resurrection Cemetery. "

"Marvin Dale Buban, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio, died with his wife and daughter by his side on November 29, 2023. Marvin was born in Cleveland and graduated from John Marshall High School. He attended Carnegie Tech, where he became a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He graduated from Cleveland State University. After college Marvin played with many volleyball clubs in Cleveland and Columbus, and was selected as the regional all-star by the United States Volleyball Association three times. Marvin met Marcia Harman in the summer of 1972, and they were married the following March. They made Worthington their home for fifty years, and became members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. Marvin was a loving husband and father, who always prioritized family. Marvin retired from Precision Printing in 2006 and was able to travel extensively during retirement, both internationally and in the United States. Marvin loved meeting new people, seeing new places, and tasting new food. Marvin left Worthington in June 2023 to move to Westminster Thurber, which was a wonderful home for his final six months. Marvin is preceded in death by parents, Max and Mary Buban, and infant son, Michael Mathew Buban. He is survived by his beloved family: wife, Marcia Harman Buban; daughter and son-in-law Kate and Evan Mangino; son Daniel Buban; grandchildren Beatrice and James Mangino; brother and sister-in-law Max and Francine Buban of Columbus; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Barbara and Jim Ballard of Milwaukee, and Pam and Andy Daugavietis of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Sunday, December 3 from 2:00-4:00pm at Rutherford Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. The funeral service will be on Monday, December 4 at 10:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 404 South Third Street, Columbus. Mary Lu Harrison was born January 22, 1942 in Shawnee, Ohio and died November 28, 2023 in OSU Medical Center. She attended St. Mary of the Springs for College and graduated in 1963 with a BA in Social Work. She then attended Catholic University of America for graduate school and graduated in 1965 with an MSW in Social Work. She was an LISW working at Franklin County Children Services as a supervisor from 1966-1970, then at Ohio State University Medical Center as the Director of Social Services for 25 years (1970-1995) and retired in August 1995. She continued working in Home Health Care Social Work Case Management for another 10 years. She dedicated her life to Social Work and helping others She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers and received the Ohio Dominican University Distinguished Alumni Award in 1995. She was the Former President of the Ohio Dominican University Alumni Association. She loved traveling to Italy, Ireland, Scotland, and England, along with cruising the Caribbean. She loved golfing with friends. She loved going on trips to Oglebay and Hocking Hills with her group of friends each year. Family was very important to her. She was a die-hard Catholic and the sweetest, most selfless person in the world. She will be missed dearly. Preceded in death by her parents, Elias F. Hatem and Mary C. Hatem-Williams; husband Richard O. Harrison; brother Robert Dennis Hatem; Survived by her daughter Mary Harrison-Stout; grandchild Sam Stout; brothers Lawrence Hatem, Patrick (Connie) Hatem, nephews: Patrick (Joyce) Hatem, Larry (Shannon) Hatem and Paul (Sarah) Hatem; niece Laurie (Rodger) Mohler; other relatives and friends. Friends may call 4-6 p. m. Monday at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL 4661 Kenny Rd. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a. m. Tuesday at St. Timothy Church 1088 Thomas Lane.
