Patricia A. Forster, 77, passed from this life on Friday October 6th, 2023 at Meadowbrook Care Center in Montgomery, Ohio. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 6, 1945 to the late Robert and Margaret Stuck. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert K. Forster, Sr. , sister Sandy Fessler (Steve, MD), brothers: Butch Stuck (Darlene), Tommy Stuck (Carolyn), stepsons: Rob Forster, Dean Forster (Ben Kercsmar) and Chad Forster (Gina), grandsons: Cameron Forster and Grant Forster, granddaughter Mandy Forster, and many nieces and nephews. Those who knew Pat saw her as a compassionate and gentle soul who saw the best in everyone. Everyone who met Pat befriended her because of her genuine kindness and fantastic sense of humor. Pat was a devout Catholic and a long time parishioner at Holy Cross Church. She shared her generosity with many charitable causes and volunteered at Be Concerned for many years. She enjoyed time with family and friends, Summer Fair, festivals, fireworks, boating, flowers, and all of God's animals. All who had the opportunity to encounter Pat are truly blessed. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to:Be Concerned, 1100 West Pike Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011 and/or Holy Cross Curch, 3612 Church Street, Covington, Kentucky 41015. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9th at Holy Cross Church 3612 Church Street, Covington Kentucky 41015 from 2 o'clock PM to 3 o'clock PM. Mass of Christian burial begins at 3 o'clock PM. Interment will take place at Mother of God Cemetery immediately following.

Robert L. Gray, 84, of Montgomery, Ohio passed away on November 13, 2023. Robert was born one of 3 sons on June 12, 1939 to Carl and Josephine Gray in Pittsburgh, PA. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 40 years, Marie Gray. Robert and Marie leave behind 4 children, Steve Gray (wife, Carol), Sean Gray (wife, Terrie), Kimberlee Gray (wife Kara), and Cynthia Gray (partner, Jason Stargel), and three grandchildren, Scott Gray (deceased), Sean Raming and Leah Raming. Robert Gray was a man of great character who has always welcomed new people into his life. He led of life of honesty, respect, hard work, and the desire to learn. If you were his friend or family member, you had someone strong by your side who would drop everything if you needed his help. Robert loved adventure. He traveled the world in his military service and career, and then returned with stories to share with his family. As a family man, Robert was dedicated to giving his wife and children a beautiful life. Robert was a devoted husband who took care of his wife until her last day. Always saddened by her loss, he lived on to see good times and do many wonderful things in his life. Robert watched his grandchildren grow into adulthood and welled with pride for all their accomplishments and adventures. Robert will always be remembered as a fine man, a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Jean Keller Pettit, of Montgomery, Ohio, passed away on September 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. Jean graduated from Kings Mills High School, earned a bachelor's degree in education from Miami University, and later received a master's degree in counseling and guidance from Xavier University. While enrolled as an undergraduate at Miami University, at the request of her former superintendent at the Kings Mills School District, she returned to her alma mater and began her career as a primary teacher at the age of 19, while completing her college studies. After several years, Jean accepted a position at Glendale School and was teaching there when it became part of the Princeton City School District, where she spent the remainder of her 30-year career--also teaching at Stewart, Heritage Hill, and Woodlawn Schools--touching the lives of many students. Jean had a passion for music. She played multiple instruments (piano, organ, violin, trumpet, trombone) and sang with the Cincinnati chapter of Sweet Adelines. She was an enthusiastic traveler, visiting all 50 states and many international destinations. Some of her favorites included India, Ireland, and Alaska. She particularly enjoyed Cape Hatteras on North Carolina's Outer Banks, which was an annual destination for many years. Jean grew up on a farm and loved animals, especially the pets she had throughout her life. She was an avid reader and keen follower of current events, a wonderful cook, created beautiful holiday decorations and floral arrangements, and always enjoyed a good crossword puzzle. Most of all, Jean was dedicated to her family. She was warm, funny, and a wonderful listener, cheerleader, and coach. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis Keller and Ida Penkawa Keller (Stoll) and brother Leonard Keller. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arthur Pettit; her son, Kenton Pettit; and daughter, Tara Pettit. Mary Jo Ashburn, nee Beltz, age 85, of Montgomery, Ohio, passed away early Friday morning, October 13, 2023 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Montgomery. She was born January 29, 1938 in Mowrystown, Ohio, daughter of the late Vernon and Lucille (Thompson) Beltz, their third child and only daughter. Mary Jo was a 1955 graduate of Whiteoak High School in Mowrystown and attended Ohio University. She began her work career at The First National Bank of Cincinnati and later was an executive secretary at the accounting firm of Lynbrand Ross Brothers and Montgomery and Emery Industries. Mary Jo loved golfing, skiing, both on the water and in the snow, and played a good game of bridge. She loved pets and was an excellent cook. Mary Jo had an infectious smile and a zest for life that fostered many friendships. Surviving are loving husband of 58 years, James J. Ashburn of Montgomery, OH; nieces Vicky Beltz of Hillsboro, OH and Anne Beltz of Boulder, CO; nephews Charles G. (Holly) Beltz of Middletown, OH, Thomas Ashburn of Odessa, FL, and Scott Ashburn of Cincinnati, OH. Also surviving are a number of cousins and sisters-in-law, Linda Beltz of Galloway, OH and Beverly Beltz of Hillsboro, OH. In addition to her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Beltz and Jack Beltz. Private interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Michael "Mike" Redmond of Amberley Village, Ohio passed away in Montgomery, Ohio on October 13, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky, the beloved son of the late Leroy Redmond and Margaret Smith Redmond. Mike's life was marked by achievement and service. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University and proudly served in the U. S. Army, displaying dedication to his country. His professional journey began with General Motors, where he diligently worked until his well-earned retirement. However, Mike's true passion lay in his unwavering faith in God, and his love for family and friends was evident to all who knew him. He found solace and joy in tending to his yard and cherished the time spent at his home in Florida. He was a pillar of his community, always ready to lend a helping hand to his neighbors with their projects. His kindness, generosity, and warm-hearted nature endeared him to everyone he encountered. Mike's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Mona (Sturgill) Redmond, his devoted son Michael Lee (Holly) Redmond, and his caring sister, Dolly Kilgore. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends whose lives he touched. Mike was preceded in death by his son, Brian Haven Redmond, his father Leroy Redmond, his mother Margaret Redmond, and his brother Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Redmond. Sanford L. Souder, age 93, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away, Thursday evening, August 10, 2023 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. He was born March 7, 1930 in Williamstown, Kentucky son of the late William Warren & Viola Elizabeth (Burgess) Souder. A Dry Ridge High School Graduate, He was a US Navy Korean War Veteran. Sanford had worked his whole career beginning with the International Harvester Dealership in Wilmington, then Beam Tractor & Truck Inc. , then Equipment Superstore, where he retired in 2001. He was a member of the WSB Clinton County Senior Citizens Center, where he was captain of the Pool Team; the Wilmington American Legion Post #49, & former member of the of the Wilmington Elks #797 . Sanford was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and loved to garden. Surviving are his son- Gary (Ruth) Souder of Ruskin, FL; daughter- Sheila (Scott) Chandler of Wilmington, OH; grandchildren- Stacey Souder Mayer, Ka'Shira (Neil) Gannon, Kameron Chandler, Kolten Chandler; great-grandchildren- Dalton Mayer, Wyatt Mayer, Shelby Mayer, & Trey Gannon; brother- David (Joyce) Souder of Williamstown, KY; sisters-in-law- Wanda Faye Ruber & Viva Combs, both of KY and several nieces & nephews. Nicole Lynn (Haddix) Hines, age 39, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. She was born December 1, 1983 in Dayton, Ohio. Nicole was a free spirit. She was feisty and was always on the move (couldn't sit for very long). She was a helpful, creative, artsy person that if you knew her. . . you loved her. Nicole loved the color purple, dolphins, and an ice cold Pepsi. She was also known to "not take nothing from no one!"
