Patricia Boyd Obituary

Patricia Ann Boyd, born in Detroit, Michigan on September 23, 1939, met Jesus face to face on September 3, 2023, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Richard for 66 years. Loving mother of Rick, Cheri Shoaff (Bob), Kim Harding (Bob), and Lisa Rubino (Tony). Most adoring cheerleader to 13 grandchildren, and chief hugger and kisser to 21 great grandbabies. Dear sister of Lorraine Marchione and Bob Woronko (Patty). Preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Woronko, sister, Mary Wertheimer, and brothers Tom Woronko, and Bill Woronko. Pat's life was completely devoted to her savior, her church, and to her husband and family. Her greatest joys included days in her yard, flowers galore, feeding the birds and squirrels, and the beach! Other than a Sunday, a perfect day was her chair in the water, a cold pop in her hand, and the sunshine on her face. She was tenderhearted, forgave easily, and loved deeply. She loved to play games and loved to win! Pat was silly and always loved to laugh. Music was a special part of her life, and she loved singing her hymns, but especially loved it when her husband sang. Although her time here on earth met many struggles, she was a fighter and trusted Jesus with her life. "The Lord knows" would come out of her mouth often and those words encourage us all to this day. She knew her heavenly destination. She was not afraid to go. Her family adored her and know they will see her again one day. To God Be the Glory.
