Patricia "Patty" Balin age 81, of McKeesport, passed away on June 18, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport. Born May 30, 1941, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Francis Jess and Katherine Taylor and beloved wife to her high school sweetheart Thomas J. Balin for 61 years. Patty volunteered at her church's religious education center and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She was instrumental in forming the McKeesport Firefighters Ladies Auxiliary in 1973. Patty enjoyed bowling with friends in the William Penn bowling league and the senior league at North Versailles Lanes. She loved cruise ships, casinos trips, and her fluffy Bichon Frise "Pookie Bear. "In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Thomas Jr. and David Balin. Arrangements were entrusted to the Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
