Patricia Ann Abbott, age 73, of Interlachen, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2023. She was born on December 25, 1949 in Hyannisport, Massachusetts, a daughter to the late Paul Davenport and Clara (Linnell) Boyd and step father Richmond Boyd. The wife of the late James Abbott. She leaves behind two sons Jay and Paul, two daughters Tammy and Lynn and a sister Carol and cousin Albert Linnell. Also several nieces and nephews , 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots. She loved the ocean and seafood. She was a loyal friend to many and loved her family and God.

Sheryl Lee McWatters, 63, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Schenectady, NY and had lived in Interlachen since 1999. Sheryl had worked as a bartender and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle's #3822 as well as the American Legion Post 293. She was also a volunteer for Fire Station 17. Sheryl was of the Christian faith. She was an avid BINGO player and enjoyed garage sales and flea markets. She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather who raised her, Leon and Bernadine Grandy, and siblings, Gary Grandy, Dawn Sandoval, Roger Peabody, and Barbara Grandy. She is survived by her husband of 7 years, James "Jimmy" McWatters, children, Rachelle Flinchum (Jason), Travis McWatters, Tonya Stern, and Raymond Presley (Megan), stepson, Billy McWatters (Rebecca), siblings, Kelly Freire, Renee Freire, Michael Grandy, Chris Grandy, Tim Grandy and Michele LaPointe, grandchildren, Makayla and Antonio Serrano, Kolton Presley, and Kendall and Kyle Holland, great-grandchildren, Cole and Abigail as well as dear friend and "BFF", Ruth Bahr. The family would like to thank Community Hospice for their care and compassion. And a special thank you to Sheryl's aid, Karrie, who became like family. A memorial service celebrating Sheryl's life will be announced at a later date. Eleanor B "Bea" House Handley, 85, of Florahome, passed from this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at her home following an extended illness. Bea Handley, originally of Kentucky, chose to live in Florida and eventually settled in Florahome. She was the wife of Jerry Ellis Handley; their only daughter is Jeri Handley Keene, married to Jeremy. Bea was previously wed and bore five other children: Eddie Smith, married to Diane; Ronnie Smith, dating Dana; Lonnie Smith, married to Terri; Donnie Smith, married to Sandy; Cherie Smith, married to Kevin Sawyer. Bea is survived by her husband, all of her six children. Together they have given her twenty-three grandchildren and nearly a dozen great-grandchildren. Bea was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles, her own parents, Samuel Beckham House and Lucy Greer of London, Kentucky, and all of her siblings and their spouses: Steve House and Joan Gumm of London, Kentucky; Louis Jean "Tiny" House and Edward "Bill" Moren of Munford, Tennessee; Mary Lou "Cotton" House and Leroy Hundley of London, Kentucky; Hazel Joan House and Arnold Yaden of Hamilton, Ohio; Bea's twin brother Frank House and Jackie Grant of Fairfield, Ohio; Ford Dean House of London, Kentucky; Peggy Ann House and Walter Watson, Jr. of London, Kentucky; and Margaret Jane House, as well as Ronnie's wife Josie Hyatt Smith, several close cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be no wake or indoor service; instead, a graveside service is planned for Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Interlachen, Florida with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. All mourners are welcome. Flowers for the deceased will be received with gratitude.
