Age - 25

"Anthony Thomas Bundros, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on November 16, 2023. He was loved by his devoted parents Tom and Lara Bundros and adored by his younger sister, Anna Grace. Anthony was born at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta on August 20, 1998. He was the namesake of his paternal grandfather and a joy to all who met him. As he grew, his charisma, intelligence, athleticism, and adventurous disposition shaped an intense devotion and boundless appreciation by his family. Anthony was attending the University of Georgia-Athens; he was scheduled to graduate with a BS from the Agricultural Business School on December 15th of this year. His childhood was filled with swimming lessons, summer camps, hi-adventure Boy Scouts, karate, and exploring the great outdoors. Anything that moved, swam, jumped, or slithered drew his attention. He was amazing in his ability to find a snake in a public park, zoo, creek bed, or someone's backyard. Anthony spent his youth in Dalton, GA and Milton, GA, where he attended both public and private schools. A gifted student and athlete from an early age, he found soccer to be a great outlet for his boundless energy and later played lacrosse, wrestled, and competed in the Georgia State Diving Championships. Anthony's passion ultimately turned to all types of fishing. His innovative brain and fishing skills once merged and the result was a fish caught in Greece with a piece of a string, a hook, and a French fry. He was predeceased by his yiayia and papou, Thalia and Anthony Bundros, and his grandmother and grandfather, Diane and Roger Seifert. Surviving Anthony are his many his aunts, uncles, cousins, God parents, and God siblings. Their hearts are broken to have lost such a kindhearted and spirited young man like Anthony but they take comfort that he is in God's Kingdom. Funeral Services for Anthony will be held at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Marietta, Georgia, where he was an altar boy in his youth, this coming Monday, November 27th at 11:00 AM. A luncheon in Anthony's memory will be served after the service. The family will later attend a private burial. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the two Churches where his family are current members: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (where he was baptized) 722 Glenwood Drive Chattanooga, TN 37404 Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church (where he was an altar boy) 3431 Trickum Road Marietta, GA 30066"Show more
