Pamela Dawn Veselosky, age 64 of Berwind, WV passed away August 29, 2023 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. Born December 15, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Dowell and Madaline McKinney Dowell. Pamela made her career as a registered nurse and retired from Welch Community Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Michael Veselosky; son, Michael Paul Veselosky; daughter, Misty Dawn Veselosky; brother, Ronnie Dowell; sisters, Patty Love and Deborah Motley. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. No services are planned. Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA is honored to serve the family. Donna Carol Roberts, 63, of Berwind, WV died Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Born January 12, 1959 in Welch she was the daughter of the late Ernest Roberts and Dora Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Charles; and one brother Mark Reed. She is survived by her son, Jeremy Roberts, and companion Faith Rock of Princeton; two grandchildren, Dustin Roberts, and Yvonne Roberts; two sisters, Sherry Beavers and Kim Dawson and husband Shannon; one brother, Ernie Roberts, and wife Vickie; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Polly Roberts. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Aaron Edwards officiating. Anita Diana Kerekes, age 63 of Berwind, WV passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home. Born May 29, 1958 in Tazewell County, VA she was a daughter of the late Woodrow J. Pruett, Sr. and Maxine Geraldine Crouse Pruett. She was of the Pentecostal faith, was a wonderful servant of the Lord, and a very loving wife who took great care of her family. She loved to quilt, cook and raise flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sidney Lewis, Brenda Altizer, and Linda Gail Pruett. She is survived by her husband of almost forty seven years, James "Joe" Kerekes, Sr. ; daughter and loving caregiver, Marissa Kerekes of the home; sons, James "Little Joe" Kerekes of Berwind, WV, Shannon Kerekes and wife, Heather of Caretta, WV, Michael Kerekes and companion, Jennifer Elmore of Berwind, WV; grandchildren, Samantha Barnett, Samantha Tessner and husband, Lee, Tiffany Woody and companion, Brian Mitchell, Matthew Kerekes and Caleb Elmore; two great grandchildren; sisters, Karyn Rainey, Doris Bradley, Barbara Mitchell, and Joanne Osborne; brothers, Steven Pruett and Woodrow "Bo" Pruett, Jr. ; a host of other family and friends. Mary Gravely Riley, 96 passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, in Villa Rica GA. She was born on December 11, 1923, in Berwind, West Virginia , the daughter of Millard and Molly Gravely. Mary resided in Blountville, Tennessee most of her life before moving to Villa Rica, Georgia in 2008. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blountville, Tennessee. Mary was a graduate of Big Creek High School in War, West Virginia and attended several secretarial colleges thereafter before joining the U. S. Navy in 1943. She received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Navy, Key West, Florida in 1945. Mary loved to read and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Riley and a son, Michael Riley. Her sister, Nina Decker of Bristol, Virginia, passed away hours after. She is survived by a sister, Ann O'Bryan of Bristol, Tennessee; two sons, Donald L. Riley and wife Christine, Thomas Riley and wife Annette, and a daughter-in-law, Becky Riley; grandchildren, Daniel Riley, Ashley (Stephen) Irby, Lauren (Derek) Thomas, Noah (Jennifer) Riley, Nathan (Dezaray) Riley and Kelly (Tate) Stophel; four great grandchildren and another on the way; several nieces and nephews.
