"Onita Alexander, 57, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 9, 1966 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Jame Hamilton and Regina Alexander. Onita was the second youngest of 12 children. She was educated at John Farren Elementary School in Illinois. Onita had a loving spouse of 20 years, Catrell Payne. During her childhood she lived in Illinois and then moved to Beloit as an adult. Onita loved watching scary movies, listening to music, dancing, and playing and laughing with her family and friends. She was a loving and caring mother, spouse, and friend who was always thinking of others. Onita loved her family and grandchildren dearly. Onita leaves to cherish her loving memories, daughter, Precious Alexander; grandchildren, Lavarrianna, Malia, and Levar Johnson, Jai'Quise, Marquise, and Sa'Khyaa Thompson; siblings, Leroy Hicks, Lonnie Alexander, Regina Alexander, Vanessa Alexander, and Vincent Alexander; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved heavenly daughter, Nadia Alexander and siblings, Larry Hick, Glenice Hick, Maryann Hick, Yuana Alexander, Jerry Alexander, and Wayne Alexander. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a. m. on Monday, October 9, 2023 in the Daley Murphy Wisch \u0026amp; Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd. , Beloit, WI, with Pastor James Ivy officiating.
