Ollie C. Lambert of Mallory, WV Ollie Canterbury Lambert, 93, of Mallory, departed this life on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Mallory, after a long illness. She was born on February 14, 1930, in Logan County, the daughter of the late James Canterbury and the late Hallie Browning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Samp" Lambert; two daughters-in-law, Donna Kay Justice and Lisa Justice; two sisters and their husbands, Gladys and Jack Farley and Helen and Claude Adkins; three brothers and their wives, David and Margie Browning, Johnny and Beulah Canterbury, and Lindsey Canterbury; three brothers-in-law, Ed Reed, Aubrey Bryant, and Donald Mangus; and two grandsons, Walter Lee "Little Lee" Salmons, Jr. and Timothy Johnson. Ollie was a Christian of the Church of God faith. She was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in her home. Before her illness, she enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible, fishing, and hunting. She adored animals especially her little dog Mary Lou. Ollie loved the Lord with all of her heart and has now gone to her home in Heaven. Those left to cherish her memory are five children, Eddie Justice of Hanover, Robert Justice of Greenville, Diane New of NC, Hallie and Ted Carter of Mallory, Virginia "Jenny" and Lee Salmons of TN; three sisters, Margie Mangus of Columbus, OH, Betty Bryant of Cleveland, OH, and Wanda Reed of Lyburn; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p. m. Thursday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00 p. m. Friday, April 12, 2023, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery at Justice. Pallbearers will be Ted Carter, Bub Justice, Josh Carter, Steven Black, JR Justice, Todd Messer, and Robert Justice.
