Olivia Guerra Hicks Olivia was a kind and caring Mom and Tita (Grandma). She was a fighter till the very end and she always proved Doctors wrong. She loved to work and spend time with family. Olivia passed away on June 17, 2022 at the age of 78. She was born on April 2, 1944 to Dolores Ruiz & Miguel Guerra and grew up in San Fernando Tamaulipas, Mexico. Olivia fell in love with the love of her life William (Billy) Earl Hicks in 1976 in Pharr, Texas. Olivia was the mother of 10 children. Despite her large family, Olivia always made time for everyone. She always provided love and support for her family. She was a housekeeper for many, many years. She loved family gatherings, the beach, and fishing. Olivia was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Hicks; her mother, Dolores and father Miguel; and siblings, Zoila, Paula, Jose, Edelmiro, and Irene. She is survived by her children, Ana, Consuelo, Cecilia, Ismael, Sandra, Cesar, Lydia, Vicky, Jessica and Olivia Ann; her sons and daughters-in-law, Jesse, Aurelio, Jimmy, Gilbert, Olga, Francisco, Ty, and Juan; her grandchildren, Gwendolen, Jonathan, Rolando, Antonio, Maria, Michael, James, Stephanie, Saige, Alex, Olga, Emmanuel, Natalie, Kyler, Cole, Madison, Joaquin, Janna and Clayton (her wedito); and her great grandchildren, Preston, Keaton, Demarco, Lucas, Daniel, LillyAnn, Kase, Cashlynn, and Kodee. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway Chapel, in Katy, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 p. m.
