BAKER; OLGA LAURAPeacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday April 22, 2023, after a brief illness surrounded by her family. Olga (Cowan) Baker of Forfar, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Baker. Loving mother of Doug Baker (Julia) of Elgin, Rob Baker (Kate) of Forfar and Kim (Ernest) Perrin of Mississauga. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Brookelyn (Nathan), Matthew (Kayla), Brynn, Kendra (Nate), Chad (Rilie), Alicia (Mike), Mark, Braiden and Carson. Olga was so happy to have 6 great-grandchildren; Cece, Ada, Harper, Sam, Paisley and Owen. Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Jill Baker, grandson; Calvin Baker, six brothers; Edmund, Delos, Lyndon, Morris, Bruce and Omer as well as 3 sisters; Sadie, Shirley and Verla. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Wednesday from 4 -8 p. m. Funeral Service in Portland United Church on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Forfar Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Portland United Church, Forfar Community Hall, Forfar Cemetery or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
