Norman Pfancook Obituary

Norman Robert Pfancook 72 of Morrisville passed away at home on May 7, 2023. Beloved husband of 50 years to Carol L. Faulkner Pfancook. Loving father of Jeremy J. Pfancook (Christi), Jared F. Pfancook (Charlotte) and Jonathan C. Pfancook. Grandpop of Ella, Chloe and Beau. Dear brother of Bonnie Snyder (Henry), James Pfancook (Brenda), Brenda Gouger (Donald) and Chris Pfancook (April). Brother-in-law Robert Peters and Brother and Sisters-in-law Randy and Ellen Faulkner and Lyn Faulkner along with Claudia and Philip Flannery. Preceded in death by his parents James and Joyce Pfancook, his sister Yvonne Peters, his in-laws Joseph and Elsie Faulkner, and Annabelle and Wellie Kuehner, beloved aunt and uncle. Born in East Stroudsburg, PA Norm graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville. While in High School, he participated in football, track and basketball. Norm furthered his education at Millersville State College where he continued to play football. He graduated from Millersville in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After Millersville, Norm enlisted in the United States Air Force where he taught aviation system electronics for the F-15 Fighter Aircraft. While in the Air Force, he attended the University of Northern Colorado where he received his Masters of Business Administration. Following his service Norm worked for UNISYS for 30 years as the Director of Platform Operations and then for ten years as a contracted project manager for the TSA in Washington DC. Norm enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren. As a family, they spent many summers vacationing at the Jersey Shore. Norm was very involved with his son's sports as he coached their YMS Soccer and Pennsbury Ice Hockey teams for many years. He was a Philadelphia sports fan and and avid golfer. Norm enjoyed a wide range of music and shared that love of music with his sons. Relatives and friends are invited to Norm's Life Celebration Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 1:00pm to 3:00PM at Dunn Givnish Funeral Home 378 S. Bellevue Ave. , Langhorne, PA 19047 followed by his Memorial Service at 3:00PM afterwards will be a time of Fellowship at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations in Norm's memory may be made to American Heart Association and the American Kidney Fund.
