Norma Yockey Obituary

Norma Jean Yockey, 82, of Rogers passed away Friday, April 21, 2023. She was born February 21, 1941 in Mount Vernon, Arkansas to the late Walter and Anna Dillard Foster. Norma was also preceded by her first husband, James C Yockey and all of her siblings, Retha Adams, Raymond and Clarence Foster. Although primarily a homemaker, through the years, she also worked as a bookkeeper for a number of local firms. Norma enjoyed walking, reading, playing games, and especially, attending her church, First Pentecostal Church of God in Rogers. Survivors include her husband, Rocky Whitehead; her daughter, Carla (Craig) Fletcher of St. Louis; her son, Calvin (Lisa) Yockey; 3 grandchildren, Savannah (Noah) Parker of Ohio, Matt (Jessica) Yockey of Bella Vista, and Cale (Nikki - fiance) Fletcher of Tennessee; 10 great-grandchildren (with another on the way); numerous extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. The Funeral service will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at First Pentecostal Church of God, 822 N 'C' St in Rogers. Interment will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
