George was also employed as a pumper for the oil wells on the ranch. He also worked for ColoWyo in the guard shack. He enjoyed his time working at the city of Craig Road and Bridge department as well. No matter where he worked, he worked hard and made many friends. One highlight of his life was serving in the Army, 1954 through 1956, where he was stationed in Germany. George was a proud veteran and he loved the USA. George loved his wife, Sharon, of 47 years. They had many adventures, such as traveling to many countries, enjoying cruises, and meeting new friends. After selling the ranch, they moved to Lakeside Montana, where they worked together to build a wonderful home place, full of flowers and good times. After moving back to Craig, he enjoyed working in his yard with his wife, and spending time with many friends who would stop by for coffee and dessert.
