Norma Norz Obituary

We lost an incredible woman on April 21, 2023. Norma Norz passed away from stroke related complications at home surrounded by her loving family. Norma and her late husband Jim Norz were dairy farmers until the herd was sold when they began raising polled herefords. Norma enjoyed farming, raising polled herefords, travel and was active in Hillsborough Chapter B senior club. Norma was referred to as sweet, kind and occasionally as stormin Norma as she cruised the property on her golf cart known as "The Moonshine Express. "Norma's family Connie Johnson, Jimmy, Charlie, April & Emma, Chris & Kristen Giraldi & great grandchildren Blake, Shae, Charlie & Calvin remain on the family farm. Norma enjoyed listening to music, cooking, travel, and a cold glass of wine or an occasional shot of moonshine. While we all miss this sweet, intelligent, hard working woman, so many will carry her in their hearts and live based on the influence she has had on them. She is also survived by granddaughter Alllison May and great-granddaughter Lena, as well as grandson Jake Forktus, granddaughter Sandi Forktus-Fulghum, husband Davey & children Katie & Mackenzie. Norma is predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Jim Norz, and daughters Carol & Kathleen Norz. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US Hwy 206, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Mass will be 10am at Mary Mother of God, 157 S. Triangle Rd, Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Norma's name to Hillsborough Senior Citizen Group - Chapter B. Your donation will help offset costs of future senior trips and events for Norma's dear friends. The senior group and trips were very near and dear to her heart.
