"Norma Ruth Shirk, age 88 of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. Funeral services for Norma Shirk will be Saturday, September 16 at 10 a. m. at Camdenton united Methodist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9 a. m. - 10 a. m. in the church. Burial will be in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery. "

Vicki Jean Fincher, was born June 12, 1949, in Sedelia, Missouri and departed this life December 8, 2023, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of seventy-four years. Vicki made a profession of faith in Christ and at the time of her passing, was a member of Community Baptist Church. The love and continued prayers from her church family were precious to her. On August 24, 1968, Vicki married the love of her life, Arthur Wayne Fincher. Together Vicki and Wayne celebrated fifty-five years of laughter and memories, while raising their three children. Although her top priority was tending to the needs of her family, Vicki also worked outside her home. She was also a realtor for several years and worked as a bookkeeper for Alvin Jackson for eighteen years. She was an avid bowler in her younger years and enjoyed camping and fishing with Wayne. Her most treasured moments were those spent with her family. She loved them deeply and unconditionally. Vicki is survived by her husband, Wayne; children, Tony Fincher, Dena McGaughy and Julia Jacobs; grandchildren, John and Nicole Henson, Jessica and Colton Shepherd, Lindsey and Terry Deckard, Clint and Lauren Grimes, Ty Jacobs, Jessica and Rob Conder, Ashton and Josh Williams, Amy and Josh Miller, William and Kirsten McGaughy and Michael and Abigail Lutz; great-grandchildren, Liam, Bristol, Riley, Nashe, Max, Stella, Presley, Jackson, Lynn, Johnny, Liam, Elena, Irelan, Timberlan, Willa J and Loraida; one brother, Larry Jacobsen and his wife Judy; sister-in-law, Debbie Fincher; brother-in-law, Charlie Fincher; other relatives and many friends. Those preceding her in death include her parents and one granddaughter, Tressie Renee. Vicki was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We will miss her here, but what a wonderful reunion one day with the promise of Heaven. Robert Gene "Bob" Burgess, age 75, was born on April 29, 1948, at Chicago, Illinois a son of Willie and Patsy Ruth (Rigsby) Burgess and departed this life on Sunday, December 3, 2023 in the Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach. Bob was united in marriage on December 18, 1976, to Brenda Kay Malone and to this union, one son was born. He was preceded in death by his wife on December 12, 2020; his son, Jason on September 27, 2023; his father, Willie; his mother Patsy Fenton on December 16, 2014; and two brothers, Frank Burgess on July 27, 1977 and Gary Burgess on December 12, 2007. Bob had worked for the Pulaski County Road and Bridge Department until he suffered a heart attack. He was baptized early in life and was a member of the Burnett Church near Dixon. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing in church, going to gospel singings, fishing, gardening, playing cards, doing the 5k, but most of all being with his family. Those left to mourn the passing of Bob include: his children, Shawn Matherly and his wife, Shannon, Lebanon; Mindy Meeker and her husband, Kevin, Fair Grove, his siblings, Patty Olsen and her husband, Billy Olsen, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Pete Rhodes, Camdenton; Cody Rhodes, Rolla and Shane Thompson and his wife, Jennifer, Columbia; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held for Bob from 10 a. m. until the time of his funeral service at 11 a. m. , all on Thursday, December 7, 2023 in the Burnett Church at 15101 Church Lane, Dixon, Missouri 65459 with Pastor Danny Bassett officiating. Private burial will be in the Sheppard Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon. Thomas J. Walker, age 82, of Osage Beach, MO, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was born September 14, 1941 in Akron, OH and was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Vickie Walker, parents Eugene and Catherine Yates Walker, and brothers, William and Robert Walker. Tom grew up in Akron, OH and was employed by AON Corporation for 35 years until his retirement. He is survived by one twin brother, Terrence (Marlene) Walker, Strongsville, OH and his four children, Catherine M. Wallker, Columbus, OH, Jeanne L. (John) Williams, Orient, OH, Ryan E. (Kami) Walker, Bloomington, IL and Debbie (Phillip) Steele, Kirksville, MO. In addition, he has nine grandchildren of which he was very proud of. Tom loved LOZ, where he resided for 26 years. During his time at the lake, he enjoyed giving back to his community, serving on the University of Missouri Extension Council for four years. He was also a proud member of the Rotary and became President of Lake Ozark Rotary Club in 2016. Tom was elected 3 times as Third Ward Alderman in the City of Osage Beach. During his tenure with these organizations, he built incredible relationships with many great people. There will be a private family ceremony as this was Tom's wish. "LUCY SILLIMAN Lucille E Silliman, age 82, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born August 31, 1941 in Rochester, New York, a daughter of William and Eleanor (Wonderlic) Ewart. On June 8, 1963 in Kankakee, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Marvin B Silliman. Together they shared sixty happy years of marriage. Lucy was raised in Kankakee, Illinois and was a graduate of the high school there. She received a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, Texas. She went on to receive a master's degree in music education from Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky and a master's degree in education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Her career in elementary education began in Maryville, Missouri and she later taught in Ft. Scott, Kansas. She and Marvin retired to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2006. She was active at the Westlake Aquatic Center in Laurie, Missouri. She served on the board of directors for many years, having served as president for ten years. She was an award-winning art quilter. Her pieces were shown throughout the United States, including a quilt displayed at the Missouri Capitol in Jefferson City. She loved gardening and was a member of the Lake Bloomers Garden Club and was a Missouri Master Naturalist. Lucy and Marvin enjoyed traveling and were able to visit seven continents together. Survivors include her loving husband, Marvin of the home; two children, Michael Silliman of Portland, Oregon and Carol Silliman of Pittsburg, Kansas; two granddaughters, Eliza Silliman and Abigale Silliman and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jean McCracken. A visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 p. m. , Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the Sunrise Beach Little Theatre. Lois Gwendolyn Medley, daughter of Estel Lee and Dorothy Albertha Vizard Harlow, was born April 11, 1938, in Rock Island, Illinois and departed this life November 28, 2023, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years. Lois made a profession of faith early in life and lived her life accordingly. She was a longtime, active and faithful member of Stoutland Baptist Church. She loved her church family, as they did her. She enjoyed church functions and fellowship and treasured their continued prayers over the years. On December 29, 1961, Lois was united in marriage with the love of her life, or as she referred to him, "Mr. Wonderful," Richard Lee Medley. Together they shared thirty-eight years of laughter and memories, while raising their two daughters, Susan and Kathy. Richard preceded her in death on April 11, 2000. Although her top priority was tending to the needs of her family, Lois also worked outside her home. For many years she was the Chief Deputy Clerk for the Camden County Circuit Clerk's office. She earned much deserved respect for her knowledge and attention to detail. When she wasn't working, Lois was an avid reader. However, moments spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, is what she treasured most. Lois is survived by two daughters, Susan Medley of Stoutland, MO and Kathy Moats and her husband David of Bentonville, AR; three grandchildren, Joshua and Jeremy Deleski and Dyllan Moats; siblings and their spouses, Glenda and Gary Lange, Beth and Don Gilbraith, John Harlow, Doris Harlow, Mike and Patricia Harlow, Susan and Butch Parker and Bill Harlow; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Judith Medley, Don Medley and Marilyn Medley; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; other relatives; church family and many friends. Those preceding her in death include her parents, Estel and Dorothy Harlow; her in-laws, Lester and Velva Medley; her husband, Richard Lee Medley "Mr. Wonderful"; other relatives, Nancy Harlow, Roy Parker, Rhonda Black, Virginia Budd, Catherine Medley and Darlene Medley. Lois was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed, but what a blessing to know we have the promise of Heaven and a great reunion one day. Celebration of life service for Lois will be Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10:00 A. M. , at Stoutland Baptist Church. Private burial will be at a later date at Stoutland Cemetery.
