Nina Lewis Obituary

Nina Bennett Lewis, 54, of 414 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA, passed away, Friday, April 21, 2023, at her residence. Born January 10, 1969, in Pittsylvania County, VA, she was the daughter of Clemon Bennett and Gurdine Bennett who survives. She was married to the late Brian Lewis. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Nia Fowler of Danville, VA; one son, Zoey Lewis of Danville, VA; a Godson, Taze Pritchett of Charlotte, NC; three sisters, Sophia McKenzie of Woodbridge, VA, Subrena Fitzgerald (Jeffrey) of Danville, VA, Victoria Bennett of Washington, DC; one brother, Bruce Fitzgerald of Altavista, VA; two grandchildren, Norrian Walters and Shaivi Walters and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Kelvin Jones. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday April 25, 2023, at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with Bishop Cecil E. Bridgeforth, Eulogist, masks are required. A visitation will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, from 5-7 PM from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home, masks are required. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Lewis family.
