Natalie Sophia Nicoletti, 24, of Naperville, formerly of Countryside. Beloved daughter of Jamie and Russell. Loving sister of Carley and Alex. Also survived by Papa Michael R. Nicoletti, Granny Jackie Cherney, uncles: Michael S. Nicoletti and Brian Warner and aunties: Justine Lew and Renee Warner and many cousins and friends, as well as her "children" Mack, Bink and Canole. Visitation 3 to 9pm Monday, August 28, 2023 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75 Street, Downers Grove. Everyone is asked to meet at St. Cletus Church, 600 West 55 Street, LaGrange for Funeral Mass at 10am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Entombment Christ the King Mausoleum at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to any Humane Society of your choice. Dionisia F. Battung, R. N. , B. S. N. , M. Ed. , age 91 of Willowbrook, Illinois, USA, and originally of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines, passed peacefully on November 21, 2023. Beloved wife of Vivencio+ for 60 years. Loving father of Nathaniel (Carmen), Nelson (Kimberley), Noel (Rose), Norine (Joe Bunales), Nestor (Susan), and Nerissa (Mark Hartford). Devoted grandmother of Lauren, Nicholas, Jacqueline (Matt Comer), Haley, Gillian, Joseph, Jonathan, Jason, Nolan, Selene, Jackson, Savannah, and Kathryn. Dear daughter of Eligio & Maria Fernandez++, younger sister of Macario+(Nancy+), Cipriana+, Victoria+ (Jesus Paragas+), Felix+, Fe+ (Saturnino Bautista+), Espiranza+, elder sister of Julia (Rupuerto Estrada+), Victorio+ (Eva+), and Benita (Reynaldo Mayo). Dionisia's family greatly appreciate the generous love and support from family and friends around the world. Dionie, as her family and friends called her, had many roles. As a nurse, she was a caring, compassionate, and concerned member of the community. She served as President to organizations such as the Philippine Medical Association in Chicago Auxiliary (PMACA), Manila Central University Nurses Alumni Association, St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary, and twice for the Philippine Nurses Association of Illinois (PNAI). Dionie loved people and they loved her. A gracious host, everyone was always welcome at her home. Her most cherished role was being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Visitation begins at 3:00pm on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th Street, Downers Grove, Illinois 60516, and continues with Prayers at 7:00pm. Final viewing will end at 9:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2, 2023, by Rev. Mark Baron, MIC, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 701 Plainfield Road, Darien, Illinois 60561. The Interment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery will take place at approximately 12:30pm.
