"William A. Pischel (Bill), 83, of Aberdeen, passed away on November 21, 2023, in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by their family. Born August 14, 1940 to Dorothy Moylen Pischel and Albert Pischel, he was a proud resident of Cliffwood Beach and then Aberdeen Township for almost 60 years. Bill was a parishioner of St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. He held the esteemed title of Commander in the Raritan Bay Power Squadron 2011. Bill really enjoyed spending time helping the Power Squadron educate others on boating safety, getting together on the water and crabbing every summer. Bill loved being outside. He spent much of his free time working on his almost 2 acre property with Betty at his side. He lovingly cared for his yard and you could always find him outside rebuilding cars, working on his boat, gardening, caring for his horse and chickens, organizing his barns, maintaining the grass, improving the Koi pond and tons of other outdoor projects. He dabbled in many hobbies such as carving ducks, candle making, cooking, hunting, traveling, teddybear making and his favorite summer hobby - having lobster and crab boils. He was predeceased by his brother, Ernie Pischel, in 2016. Surviving is the wife he adored for 64 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Gralewski; their children, Elizabeth Louise Perry and her husband, Henry, of Hazlet, William E.
