Naomi Ruth Butler Owens, 88, of Plant City, Florida, born in Durant on November 3, 1933, entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2022. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God, a missionary for Teen Roundup in Oklahoma, and a retired Assistant Postmaster for the Durant Post Office. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, embroidery, painting, and playing piano. She was preceded in death by husbands, William "Dutch" Edwin Butler, and Floyd Owens. She is survived by son, David Butler of Durant; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 28 at 11:00 A. M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A. M. Graveside committal to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Plant City.
