On Friday, February 16, 2024, Glenn L. Taylor, 83, went to be with his blessed Savior with his loving wife, Ann, by his side. Glenn was born on November 21, 1940 to the late David Lonzo Taylor and Victoria Hunter Taylor of Greenville, SC. He was a 1959 graduate of Parker High School and attended Greenville Technical Community College. Glenn loved God, Family and Country. He was proud of his service in the US Air Force and remained lifelong friends with those he served alongside. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Elizabeth Louise Taylor and Reverend David Gordon Taylor. In addition to his wife of 57 years, Ann James Taylor, Glenn is survived by his daughter Mindy Anderson and son Chris Taylor (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jonathan Martin and Amanda Martin Hogan (Brandon); great grandchildren, Grayson and Monroe Hogan; and his little dog, Dixie. Glenn and his wife were members of Slabtown Baptist Church and requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Slabtown Baptist Church Children’s Ministry PO Box 1025 Easley, SC 29641. A funeral service will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Slabtown Baptist Church 6918 Old Greenville Hwy, Liberty, SC 29657. A brief graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2024 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery 140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621.

Among her many joys in life, solving crossword puzzles held a special place in Jewell’s heart. Above all, Jewell treasured her family. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she found immense joy in their presence. Likewise, her family cherished her deeply, recognizing the warmth, kindness, and love that radiated from her spirit. Jewell leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. "Anne Barrett Greenville, South Carolina Anne Barrett, 85, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills. Born May 20, 1938, in Greenville County, South Carolina, Anne was the daughter of the late Mamie Gilstrap. Anne loved the Lord and her family dearly. She was a great mother to her children. Survivors include a son, Stephen Lamar Barrett of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Regina Barrett Hammer (John) of Old Town, FL, and Tammy Caraway (Lee) of Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Anaya (Ricky) and Dylan Hammer (Ashlee); great-grandchildren, Andrew Hammer, Cody Hammer, Sophia Anaya, and Christian Anaya; sisters, Nellie Sue Lingerfelt, and Lucille Dillard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family members. In addition to her mother, Ms. Barrett was predeceased by a grandson, Sean Barrett; sisters, Irene, Willie Mae, Otis, and Ola Mae; and brothers, Grady and Bill. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home in Pickens with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted. Mountain View Funeral Home – Pickens Chapel is serving the Barrett family."
