With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved son Brian Keith Harmon. Brian passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the age of 47 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was born on August 7, 1976, in Bloomington, Indiana, and was the son of Victor and Janice Wampler. Brian was a 1994 graduate of Bloomington High School North in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2001 with a degree in Criminal Justice and also studied marketing and management at Strayhan University. Brian was employed by AraMark at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Brian had a deep love for music, arts, family, friends and his pets, especially the Dave Mathews Band. He loved hanging out and walking the Wrightsville Beach with his dog, Rusty, and outings and events with his best friend and roommate Taylor Seashore.Brian is survived by his parents Victor and Janice Wampler, brother Timothy Harmon, sister Misty Cormier, nieces Morgan Bartlett (Shane), Whitney Cormier and Carly Gilliland (Thomas), nephews Dakota Harmon and Ashton Cormier, his Granny Mary Jane Price, two great nieces and four great nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is also survived by the Seashore family who “adopted” our son since we lived so far away.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an aunt, uncle and cousin, his dear friend Satu and his dogs.A Celebration of Life for his Wilmington friends to say goodbye and share their stories of Brian with his family will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 2-6 p.m. at Andrews Mortuary and Crematory Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington, North Carolina.A Celebration of Life for his family and friends in his hometown of Bloomington, Indiana will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. at the Burton Woolery American Legion Post 18.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maple Grove Christian Church, 1503 W. Connie (Morrow) Dezanet, age 77, of Sneads Ferry, NC, died February 29, 2024 in Wilmington, NC, after a lengthy illness. A daughter of the late Ronald and Gladys (Baughman) Morrow, she was born on May 24, 1946 in Brockway, PA. On September 9, 1972 she married Gary Dezanet, who survives in North Carolina. Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by: a sister, Phyllis Boschini. Along with her husband, Connie is survived by: two children, Anthony Dezanet of West Chester, PA and Jill (Bryan) Spinder of Sneads Ferry, NC; two grandsons, Lawrence and Logan Spinder; and a sister, Diane Faulk of Brockway, PA. A 1964 graduate of Brockway High School, Connie was born and raised in Brockway, lived in Ridgway until 1999, St. Marys until 2020 and the past several years in North Carolina. She received her Associate Degree from Point Park College of Pittsburgh, PA and worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Elk Regional Health Center until her retirement in 2012. Connie was kind and generous and valued relationships and time with family and friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles in the Daily Press, lunch with friends; and especially cherished cuddling and spending time with her grandsons. Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Monday, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force, PA with Father Mark Mastrian. Interment will take place in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Association or St. Jude’s and will be accepting online condolences at the Ralph M. William “Bill” Herbert Lowden, 94, of Wilmington, NC passed away on November 22, 2023. He was born on May 22, 1929 in Hinsdale, IL, to the late Virgil Edward Lowden and Helen McElwain Lowden. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Grace “Happy” Parker Lowden, his father, mother, and brother, Robert.Bill attended Hinsdale Central High School, Grinnell College of Grinnell, Iowa, and received his PhD from University of Illinois in Biochemistry. He received his MBA from NYU.He worked in the pharmaceutical and oil industries as a chemist. He became a chemicals analyst on Wall Street and covered a variety of industries during his career. In 1993, he retired to Wilmington, NC and enjoyed playing golf for the first time in decades. He became a Mason and a Shriner and put his extensive financial skills to work as a volunteer.Bill was a loyal Cubs fan for over 90 years and reveled in their World Series victory in 2016. He enjoyed cheering for the Duke basketball team, glazed and jelly doughnuts, and relished vanilla ice cream. He continued to be able to make calculations in his head better than most with a calculator until shortly before his death.He was ordained as a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, NJ.Bill is survived by his daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Lowden of Madison, NJ, and Laurie “Lauren” Trubey (Brad) of Stuart, FL, and his sisters Lois Lowden Lunde and Jane Lowden Fisher.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the Happy Parker Lowden Children’s Miracle Network Fund of Phi Mu Foundation in Peachtree City, GA.A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 7, 2024 at 2 pm at the Frank H. Anthony Paul Wadsworth, known affectionately as Tony, was born on August 11, 1938, in Wheeling, WV. He peacefully passed away on February 23, 2024, in Wilmington, NC, at the age of 85. Tony lived a life filled with love and devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawerence Edward Wadsworth and Mary Elaine (Wilson) Wadsworth, and his beloved wife, Sylvia Stine Wadsworth. He is survived by his three children, Karen Lee Watson, Wendy Lee Wadsworth, and Rocco Scott Wadsworth, who will always carry his memory in their hearts; his caring brother, Arthur Lawrence Wadsworth; his five loving grandchildren, John Anthony Wilkinson, William Joseph Watson, Jr., Laura Clare Wadsworth, Lydia Bagley Wadsworth, and Ella Grace Wadsworth. His four great-grandchildren, Luke James Wilkinson, Kelsey Brooke Wilkinson, Trey Anthony Wilkinson, and Rocky Dean Wilkinson, will continue to cherish the memories shared with their loving great-grandfather.
