Nancy R. Brooks, 78, of Dover, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at her home. She was born July 15, 1945, in Morrilton, daughter of the late Tollie and Edna Brents Tilley. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings. She is survived by her husband, James Brooks; children, Ricky Gipson (Andrea), Rhonda Brooks, Lena Covey (John), Sonny Brooks (Tena), and Johnny Brooks; sister, Carolyn Ness; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-granchildren; loving caregiver, Shea Faught; and other family and friends. Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Friday, at Lemley Chapel with Chaplain Brad Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. The burial is in North New Hope Cemetery (Dover) under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Debbie Lynn Duvall (PiePie) ,68, of Hattieville Arkansas, finished her race August 19, 2023, at home with her family by her side. She was born on December 22, 1954, to the late Clayton Partain and Fern Partain of Liberty Grove. She is survived by her husband Hank Duvall of 53 years, married on July 10, 1970. Her mother Fern Partain and her sisters Pam Duvall and Judy LaRue Her daughter and son in law Shane and Natasha Gullett. Her granddaughters Hannah and Garrett Pack, Caitlyn and Greyson Warhurst, Abigail Gullett and Jake Freeman. With an abundance of family and friends. She retired from Tyson Tyler Rd where she worked for thirty years. She became a pastor's wife in 1999 when her husband Hank became an ordained minister. They pastored Mountain View Freewill Baptist for nine years and have been the pastors at Pine Ridge Freewill Baptist church for the past fifteen years. Debbie was a devoted wife, mother and PiePie. She enjoyed being with her family, going to church, reading her Bible, and singing hymns. Her favorite bible verse was Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. She was a prayer warrior for her family. She loved spending time with her schnauzer Bella. Her hobbies were going to yard sales, sewing, crosswords, working in her flower garden, along with working the cattle on her farm. Her favorite past times were going to her granddaughter's softball and basketball games. She always made sure everyone who walked in the door was treated as one of her own, offering snacks and drinks. She had a good sense of humor; you would always find her smiling and laughing at all of Hanks' Jokes. The visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 22, at Lemley Chapel. Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 23, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Bill Hampton, Bro. Terry Anthony, and Bro. Brian Gullett officiating. Glenna M. Cochran, 81 of Russellville, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus Saturday, June 17, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born June 19, 1941, in Pope County to the late Herbert and Ethel Bowden Roberts. She attended Happy Valley Assembly of God Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Cochran, Glady's Burton, Vernice Roberts, Walsie Roberts, Levay Roberts; one brother, Kenneth Roberts; one grandson, Jonathan Simmons, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter. Here to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 65 years, Warren Cochran; children, Mary Ann Cochran, Glenda and Robert Bowden, Herbert and Diane Cochran, Lisa and Donnie Lawson, Stephen and Cassie Cochran, Harold and Angela Cochran, and Miranda and Robert Cowan; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Junior and Shirley Roberts. He was born September 18, 1981 in Ozark to Robert Michael Chrisman and Melinda Ann Miller Chrisman. Ryan was a Christian and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Dog Dad, an Airplane Pilot, a member of the National Rifle Association, and a Vice President of WSM. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Michael Chrisman, paternal grandparents, Wilda and Robert Chrisman; and maternal grandparents, Ellen Sue Miller and James Clifford Miller. Betty Lavonne "Morton" Wiley passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023, at her home in Atkins, Arkansas, at 90 years of age. Born October 28, 1932, at her Grandmother Morton's home in Atkins, her parents were Bruce and Theta "Jackson" Morton. She is survived by her only brother & sister-in-law Bob & Skeet Morton of Benton, Arkansas, two sons, Larry Ray Wiley, his wife Diana of Atkins, John K. Wiley of Eureka Springs, one daughter JaNan and son-in-law Bruce Shipley of Pottsville, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one niece. Formal education was obtained in Atkins and Harrisonville, Missouri, public schools. She attended Arkansas Tech and finishing school at The Christian Women's Institute of Kansas City, Mo. As a devoted mother of three, she was an active member of the Atkins First United Methodist church, former member of the Pope County Extension Homemakers Club and often served luncheons for the Atkins Lions Club. She was an at home mother for years, later employed by Sav-A-Sum Market and Tyson Foods prior to retirement. Best described as a mother that demonstrated "unconditional Love to her family and friends " she was gentle and kind. The family will receive guest at 10 a. m. May 18, 2023, (Thursday), at The First United Methodist Church in Atkins. Rev. Michael Blanchard will officiate memorial services at 11:00. Arrangements were made under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to support the ministry of her beloved church.
