"Monica Mae Lemme of Cheyenne passed away on Wednesday September 20, 2023. Monica loved spending time with her family and friends; she had a very kind heart. Her number 1 job was being a mom she also worked as a CNA. Monica is survived her children Taylor Hanisch, Courtney and Trevor Boyd, 3 grandchildren Marley, Nelly, and Ashton and her sister and best friend April. Monica was preceded in death by her mother Renee Smith, grandparents Laura Chavez, Buck \u0026amp; Dorothy Allstot, and 1 Uncle Greg Peterson. Monica will be missed very much she had a kind heart and would help a complete stranger, her family will miss her very much. "

Bruce Cress Johnston, a talented heavy equipment operator and skilled tractor repairman, passed away on November 28, 2023. Born on November 25, 1983, in Rapid City, SD, Bruce lived a life filled with passion and adventure. His love for trucks, classic cars, and restoring antique tractors ignited his soul and brought him immense joy. He left this Earth surrounded by His Beloved Mother, Sister, and Brother in Law. Bruce's career as a heavy equipment operator was marked by extraordinary talent and dedication. He possessed an innate ability to maneuver these machines with precision and finesse. Additionally, his expertise in tractor repair showcased his exceptional mechanical skills and commitment to his craft. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bruce will be remembered for the spark of happiness he brought to every room he entered. His infectious laughter resonated joyously, surpassing the amusement of any joke. It was said that his laughter could be heard for half a mile, leaving an indelible impression on all who had the privilege of hearing it. Education played a crucial role in Bruce's life journey. Although he received his GED, his thirst for knowledge extended far beyond formal education. He possessed an insatiable curiosity for the world around him, constantly seeking new insights and experiences. Bruce had a zest for life that encompassed both work and leisure. He found solace in driving anywhere at any time, exploring backroads with the enthusiasm of a true adventurer. His boundless energy was matched only by his deep connection to nature and family ranches. It was in these idyllic settings that Bruce felt most at home. A loving son and brother of unmatched caliber, Bruce embraced his role with unwavering dedication. He cherished the bond he shared with his beloved father Gary Dwight Johnston who preceded him in death. The memories they created together will forever hold a special place in his heart. Bruce's legacy is one defined by love and compassion for others. Like Jesus himself, he had a heart of gold and a genuine affection for the most vulnerable among us. His kindness touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible impact on all who crossed his path. Bruce's passing came after a brief illness, succumbing to hypoxia. Surrounded by his mother, Cindy Cress Johnston, his sister Sandra Johnston Palluck, and brother-in-law Thomas Palluck, he peacefully transitioned to eternal rest. Their presence during his final moments brought comfort and solace as he embarked on his journey beyond this earthly realm. Bruce leaves behind a loving family and numerous friends whose lives were forever enriched by his vibrant spirit. He is survived by his beloved mother, Cindy Cress Johnston of Cheyenne, WY; Roxy Fisher of Rapid City, SD; his eldest sister Perri Johnston Davis of Columbia Heights, MN; and his little sister Sandra Johnston Palluck, along with brother-in-law Thomas Palluck and two nephews, Destin Dwight Palluck and Taven Clell Palluck – all of Cheyenne, WY. Bruce also leaves behind many adoring aunts, uncles, and countless cousins who will fondly remember him. Robert Everett Wagner, known to friends and family as Bob, passed away on November 21, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, service, and warm memories that will forever be remembered by those who knew him. Bob was born on October 2, 1931, in a small farm outside Windsor Colorado. From an early age, he displayed a strong work ethic and a thirst for knowledge. After completing his high school education, Bob enlisted in the Marine Corps to serve his country during the Korean War. True to his nature as a responsible and caring individual, he made sure to finish the harvest on his father's farm before joining the military. Following his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Bob embarked on an interesting career in public service. He worked for several decades in both the Bureau of Land Management and the U. S. Forest Service. His expertise in range management led him to present numerous papers for organizations such as the Society for Range Management. Bob's dedication to his field was recognized by the US Department of the Interior, which awarded him for his outstanding contributions to the Bureau of Land Management and Soil Conservation Service National Range Handbook. Despite his professional achievements, Bob always placed family at the center of his life. For 69 years, he shared a beautiful journey with his beloved wife, Wilma. Together they traveled to many states and countries, creating unforgettable memories along the way. As snowbirds, they enjoyed spending time in Brownsville, Texas, and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. These adventures allowed Bob and Wilma to immerse themselves in new cultures and experiences that enriched their lives. Beyond his commitment to work and family, Bob had a curious mind eager to explore different interests. Investment became one of his greatest passions; he would spend hours diligently following financial channels and staying up-to-date with world events. His wealth of knowledge allowed him to engage in thought-provoking conversations with friends, always willing to share his insights and opinions. While Bob's accomplishments and hobbies are remarkable, it is the personal connections he formed that truly defined him. He treasured the moments spent with his cousins, often gathering together for meals and storytelling sessions filled with laughter and reminiscing. The warmth and kindness he experienced from the staff at Point Frontier left a lasting impression on him, reminding him of the importance of genuine human connection. Bob will be remembered as a dedicated individual who approached every aspect of his life with unwavering commitment. His genuine love for family, his thirst for knowledge, and his willingness to engage in meaningful conversations will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. Bob was a lifetime member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Lee Wagner, his cousin, Johnny Cagle, cousins Richard and Joanne Weinmeister. Robert is survived by his daughter Teresa Jo (Jim) Manzanares, his son Bret (Teresa) Wagner, his grandchildren, Thaddeus (Melissa) Manzanares, Shaun (Tiffany) Manzanares, and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Alexander Manzanares, and cousin, Dorthy Cagle. In honor of Bob's life, all are welcome to attend a memorial service planned to celebrate his remarkable journey on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Lakeview Chapel located at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home in Cheyenne, Wyoming. "Leo Garcia died at home on November 23, 2023, at the age of 91 after a lengthy battle with dementia. Leo was born December 17, 1931, in Raton, New Mexico, to Leopoldo and Natividad (Chavez) Garcia. As a young boy his family moved from Raton to Fort Collins, Colorado, and later to Cheyenne where he remained until his death. He was a proud graduate and alumnus of St. Mary\u0027s Catholic School, Class of 1950. After graduation, Leo continued his studies at St. Thomas Seminary in Denver, Colorado, for seven years, leaving prior to ordination. He moved back to Cheyenne and in 1959 met the love of his life, Doris Frausto, at the roller-skating rink. Leo and Doris were married on May 13, 1961, during the blizzard of \u002761. He was the local Business Manager for the Laborer\u0027s Union Local #1271 for 28 years retiring in 1988. After retirement, he was appointed and then elected to serve in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1995-1998. Faith and family were most important to Leo. He was a life-long member of St. Joseph\u0027s Catholic Church until later in life he became a member of St. Mary\u0027s Cathedral. Leo and Doris instilled the same values for their three daughters. He was a wonderful provider, spouse and father and a gentle soul who was very understanding whether engaging with family, friends or co-workers. Leo was an avid reader. He spent hours in a day reading the dictionary, Bible and newspapers in English, Spanish and Latin. You could ask him any word and he would be able to tell you the meaning and its origin. He was very gifted and could engage in conversation with the best. Later in life he spent time with his grandchildren, worked in his yard, tended to his tomato plants and loved sitting outside enjoying the beauty of Wyoming. Leo is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris, his three daughters, Cathy (Travis) Lenz, Suzi (Waseem) Khawaja and Meri Garcia. He is also survived by his grandchildren the Reverend Clark Lenz, Taylor (Cory) Schroeder, Chandler (Jeff) Meredith, Zain Khawaja, Pilar Khawaja, great granddaughter, Martha Schroeder and step-great grandsons Gavin and Gabe Meredith. Also surviving Leo is his sister Ernestine Chandler, brother George (Sharon) Garcia and sister-in-law Daisy Garcia, numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rudy Garcia, brother-in-law Allen Chandler and son-in-law Christopher McQuade. Viewing is Sunday, December 3, 2023, from Noon to 4:00 pm at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Vigil for the deceased will be at 4:00 pm following the viewing. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 4, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Cathedral of St. Mary and will be livestreamed on the St. Mary\u0027s Cathedral website. Gregory Wayne Sneesby, 77, died on November 23, 2023 surrounded in love by his wife, children, and sister, at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Born September 24, 1946 to Roger and Gladys (Deyo) Sneesby, in Wheatland, Wyoming, he spent his early childhood in Chugwater before moving to the family farm in Carpenter, He attended Carpenter Elementary School and High School, graduating in 1965, He was active in 4-H and Future Farmers of America, raising registered Hampshire sheep and swine, and was selected as an FFA State Farmer. He was a proud graduate of University of Wyoming, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and earnd a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1970. It was at the university that he met Karine Gard, whom he married in June 1969. They were married for 54 years and had three children Ann (Aaron Koch) Sneesby-Koch, Eric (Stephanie) Sneesby, and Ashley (Russell Stippich) Sneesby. Greg's job as a project engineer on missile sites, among other vocations, took the family on many adventures moving to North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, California, and Colorado Greg and Karine returned to Wyoming for good and built their dream home in Carpenter on the family far, where he was an organic wheat farmer and spoiled his dogs. Greg loved fast cars, particularly his 1966 Corvette Stingray, and loud music (he was known to sneak AC/DC into the Christmas morning playlist). He was a voracious reader and crossword puzzler. He could fix or build anything; he had a knack for mechanics and carpentry. He'll be remembered, among his amazing accomplishments as a husband, father, brother and friend, for his sense of humor and legendary eye-rolls. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his sister, Karen Sneesby Deyo of Evanston, Wyoming, and his grandchildren Beatrix Koch and Roger Koch of Denver, Colorado.
