Terry Shannon Stevens, age 41, departed this life on Friday, November 17, 2023. He was born on March 21, 1982 to his parents Deborah Ann Stevens and the late Jesse Roland Stevens Jr. Terry was a graduate of Wartburg High School, Class of 2000. In 2020, he began his pursuit of a degree in Industrial Electricity at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. He worked for 18 years as an employee of Y-12 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family and special loved ones. He was passionate about his children, Hudson and Abigail. Terry was a loving husband, daddy, son, uncle, nephew, and special friend to all who knew him. He was loving, patient, caring, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who would ask. Most importantly, he was a born-again Christian. He was passionate about serving the Lord and was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father: Jesse Roland Stevens Jr; Grandparents: J. B. and Dolores Terry, Marie and Lucky Brown; Aunt and Uncle: Ronnie and Brenda Terry; Nephew: Zachary Anderson; Special Cousin: Douglas Richardson. Terry is survived by his loving wife Amanda, two young children: Hudson and Abigail who loved their daddy so much; Mother: Deborah Stevens. Stepfather: Robert Gibson; Sister Jacqueline Stevens; Niece: Aunastacia Anderson; Great-Nephew: Bentlee Anderson; Special Aunts and Uncles: Dilbert and Angie Terry, Dwayne and Cassie Terry, Joe and Nancy Miksis; Mother in law: Pam Bradley; Brother in law: Brian Bradley and Wife: Erika and family, Father in Law: Gerald Bradley, and many other special relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 4:00 P. M. until time of funeral services to begin at 6:00 P. M. at Trinity Baptist Church, 1611 Glasshouse Road, Helenwood, Tennessee, 37755, with Bro. Nathan Terry and Bro. Dilbert Terry officiating. Music will be provided by The Butts Family. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10 A. M in the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery, 1611 Glasshouse Road, Helenwood, Tennessee, 37755.
