Carolyn M. (Lyles) Campurciani, 99, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Robert and Ida (Brinson) Lyles, she grew up in East Longmeadow and moved to West Springfield in 1944. She worked for Pratt & Whitney and for Hadley Furniture where she met her late husband, Robert L. Campurciani, Sr. She was a member of Mitteneague Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. Her husband of sixty-nine years, Robert L. Campurciani, Sr. , died in 2014. She leaves two sons, Robert L. Campurciani, Jr. of West Springfield, Ronald P. and his wife Delilah Campurciani of Davidson, NC, a daughter and her husband, Gloria C. and Curio Nataloni of Wilbraham, four grandchildren, Elana Silva, Michael Nataloni and his wife Alexandra, Kayce Campurciani, Meadow Campurciani, three great-grandchildren, Ava, Jack, Vincent and a sister-in-law, Diane Maltoni Houser of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Eugenia Webb and Lucielle Schieding. Kathryn Louise (Sinkovich) Gonet, 98, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at home in Feeding Hills, MA. Born in Youngstown, OH, daughter of the late John and Barbara Sinkovich, she graduated from Youngstown University with a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree, Cum Laude. She went on to graduate from nursing school at St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Youngstown, OH and became a registered nurse. She worked for many years at the West Springfield Nursing Home and Heritage Hall Nursing Home before retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills, MA. She leaves her husband of fifty-fouryears, Lewis John Gonet, three nephews, Robert and his wife Carol Sinkovich of Ohio, David Sinkovich of Ohio, Joseph Sinkovich of North Carolina, four nieces, Peggy Stevens, Mary Lou Favich, Evelyn and her husband James Felch of Bradenton, FL, Dorothy and her husband Edward Gulla of Brandeton, FL and many other nephews. Cliff worked as a Valve Technician for Millstone Nuclear Power Plant in Waterford, CT. He leaves his fiance, Angela (Terza) Lennehan of Monson; two stepsons, David R. Terza and his fiance Katelyn Proulx of Bozrah, CT and Michael J. Lennehan of Springfield; his dogs Bella and Aliyah; one brother, Matthew Graves and his wife Michele of Ware; and one sister, Laurie Clarke of Monson; his in laws, David and Jean Terza of Manchester, CT. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially vacationing in Downeast Maine and Martha's Vineyard. Alexander Patterson, 86, formerly of Brittany Road, Indian Orchard, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2023, at Sixteen Acres Healthcare in Springfield. A native South Carolinian, Mr. Patterson moved to Springfield in 1955 and worked as a machinist for many years at American Bosch. He was an avid music lover and sang in several gospel groups. Mr. Patterson is survived by two daughters, Rev. Gail Green and Amanda Alexander, both of Springfield; two brothers, Robert Patterson and Marvin Patterson of Pineland, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many friends. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Mary Frances (Cheeks) Patterson; a son, Ronnie McGowan; and a daughter, Linda McGowan; three brothers; and two sisters. Later, he became known as Paul to his family & friends. Paul married Paulette (Jankiewicz) and had five children. He was predeceased by their adored daughter, Debra, who he is now reunited with in Heaven. Along with his parents and daughter, he was predeceased by his siblings, Anthony, Louie, and Frank Cimino, Paolo Mazza (for whom he was named), Angelina, Vincenza, and Santino Mazza. Paul enlisted in the Air Force and while serving in the Air National Guard Reserves, until his retirement from Barnes Airport, he traveled around the world for work and pleasure. Paul had a great sense of humor and loved to give people a reason to smile. He was respected and admired by all who knew him, but especially by his children and grandchildren. His love of family, country, and commitment to always doing the right thing, earned him that love and respect. He will be missed but remembered fondly as a man his family looked up to and feel truly blessed to call him their "Dad" and "Grampy.
