Michel Aramouny Obituary

Michel Aramouny 79, of Milford and Mansfield, MA passed away Saturday May 6, 2023 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was the husband of Josephine Lameh. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1944. He was the son of the late Salim Aramouny and Linda Saad. In addition to his wife Josephine, he is survived by his children Maria and her husband Fred Saad of Milford, MA, Salim Aramouny and his wife Gladys Rizk of Lebanon, Randa and her husband Georges Medawar of Lebanon and Sami Aramouny and his wife Nadia Fahed of Lebanon; a sister Amale and her late husband Gergis Al Kassis of Lebanon; Sister-in-law Marie-Therese Saad; 9 grandchildren, Ramy, Rema, Gus, Christelle, Anthony, Sara, Dany and the twins, Charbel and Michel; a sister-in-law, Marie - Therese Saad of Lebanon and many nieces, nephews and cousins, including the Saad families in Milford, MA and Wichita, KS. He was predeceased by a brother Gaby Aramouny, and a sister Souad and her husband Tanious Chedid. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather. He was an extraordinary mechanic with an unmatched passion for his trade which he passed down to his son, Sami, and grandchild, Ramy, who are continuing his legacy. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed going to Lehfed on the weekends. He loved playing tawle. He was a man of wisdom with a passion for poetry and philosophy. He was a teacher and mentor to his children and grandchildren who see him as a beacon of virtue in all aspects of life. Visiting hours will be Tuesday May 9, 2023 from 4 - 8 PM in St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High Street, Pawtucket, RI. A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 10, 2023 at 11 AM at the church.
