At just 7 years old, Sloan was a first-grade student at Lafayette Meadows Elementary School, where her laughter and joy brightened the lives of those around her. Sloan's magnetic personality and infectious laugh made her a precious gem to everyone she encountered. Known for her creativity, she loved gymnastics, dancing in the living room with her family, crafting cards and bracelets, and embracing the smallest moments that filled life with joy. A cherished daughter to Jason and Therese Mattingly, Sloan held a special bond with her brother, Maddox, who was not just her sibling but her hero and best friend.
