Michael Page Scott, 60, of Pocomoke City, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury surrounded by his family. Born on October 18, 1961 in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late John Page and Joyce Kellam Scott. He graduated from Broadwater Academy and later Elon College. Professionally, Michael worked in Food Service, Sales and Marketing for many years including a long stint at then Lankford Sysco where he made several lifelong friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pocomoke City. Michael was very active in his local community serving as a board member for the Mar-Va Theater and a member of Pocomoke Elks Lodge #1624. He believed sports were very important and supported Pocomoke City youth as a longtime coach and board member for the Pocomoke Little League, Pocomoke Middle School Soccer Coach, Parks and Rec Coach, Team Parent for the Shore Unlimited Soccer Club, and a volunteer with both the Elks Soccer Shoot and Future Warriors program. In his free time, Michael enjoyed being active. He loved playing golf, camping, going to the beach and participated in several 5K's, triathlons and centuries before his illness. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens and regularly attended games with his friends and family. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family. He was a fixture on the sidelines and stands as he supported his children playing on various teams and was a huge supporter of the varsity sports teams at Pocomoke High School, particularly the soccer, baseball, and basketball teams. He spent six special years coaching with the Eastern Shore Force Travel Ball organization where both his sons played. He loved traditions, traveling, and making memories with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Jessica of Pocomoke City; a daughter, Courtney Medina of Pocomoke City, MD; two sons, Ethan and Eli Scott of Pocomoke City, MD; a sister, Donna (Gene) Fitchett of Exmore, VA; aunt, Becky (John Colby) Metz of Exmore, VA; a grandson, Carson Medina; a granddaughter, Rylee Owen; and Jessica's loving parents, Ray Lee (Paula) Lattimore; and several nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his loving parents, a son Matthew Scott, and a daughter Emily Scott. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Newtown Park, Field #2. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City. Interment will take place at Beechwood Memorial Cemetery in Princess Anne, MD following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mar-Va Theater, 103 Market Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.
