On Thursday, February 22,2024, Brian Arthur Eigenbrode of Baltimore lost his battle against an unbeatable cancer. He was 67 years young. Brian was a devoted and adoring husband to Gail Eigenbrode (NEE Sikorsky), his wife of 42 years.Son of the late Melvin and Philomena Eigenbrode, Brian is survived by his loving sisters, Linda Brooks and Tina Dorn, numerous sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews, and very special friends Holly Kinstler and Bill Wladkowski.His greatest joy and pride was becoming a father to twin daughters Dr. Nicole Kinstler (Daniel) and Kathryn McNey (Michael). Brian became the rock on which is family grew and flourished.Brian’s paternal delight turned into total bliss as he became a grandfather to Madison Ann, Oliver Brian, Wyatt Brian, and Theo John. They were his absolute everything.Brian attended St. Dominic’s Elementary School and Baltimore Polytechnic High School. He furthered his education at Essex Community College and Towson State University.Having just retired in December 2023, Brian dedicated 36 years of his life to a fulfilling career at Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, Constellation Energy, and Exelon from 1987 to 2023.Known for his generous and selfless nature, Brian was a family-oriented man with a great sense of humor. He was always reliable, caring, and supportive to all who knew him.In his free time, Brian loved coaching his girls’ soccer teams from 1993-2008. He had just started coaching his grandchildren’s t-ball and baseball teams 2 years prior to his passing. He refereed soccer matches from 2001-2023.In honoring Brian’s wishes, a memorial service to honor and celebrate his life is being planned for a later date. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Born on December 7, 1963, in Baltimore, MD, Stephen lived a life filled with adventure, resilience, and a zest for the open road. As a skilled truck driver, Stephen spent countless hours traversing the highways and byways, delivering goods. He brought a sense of dedication and reliability to his work that earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients. In his personal life, Stephen loved the Orioles and was a caring and devoted brother to his sisters, Christine McArdle and Susan Karczmarek. He is survived by his son Zackary Karczmarek and brother Brian Karczmarek. Nieces and nephews include Ethan Karczmarek, Katelyn Nocar, Leonard Bateman IV, Elizabeth McArdle, Ryan Karczmarek and Kourtney Karczmarek. His departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Relatives and friends are invited to join in celebrating Stephen's life and bidding him a final farewell at the memorial service, which will be held at the Kaczorowski Funeral Home P.A. on February 16, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Stephen Thomas Karczmarek's laughter, love, and unwavering spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. May his soul find eternal peace.
