Michael Runion Obituary

Michael I. RunionCourtland - Michael Irving Runion, 75, passed away April 20, 2023 in Sentara Obici Hospital. Born in Washington, DC, he was a son of the late Everett "Tony" Hamlet and Mildred Hunt "Millie" Staples. He was also predeceased by a brother, Joseph Runion. Michael served in the US Army and was a small engine technician. He was a former employee of Dail's Hardware and Advance Auto Parts. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sharron Presson Runion; three sons, Michael I. Runion, Jr. , Bryan Carter, and Brandon Presson; a sister, Beth Hooker (Steve); a brother, Craig Hamlet (Charlotte); and six grandchildren, Shane Runion, Zachary Runion, Hayleigh Presson, Natalia Aguilar, Brandon Presson, Jr. , and Zachary Presson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Courtland Baptist Church with Dr. John Paul Lotz and Dr. Robert Carter officiating. www. wrightfuneralhome. org
