Michael Dean Osborne, (Mike), passed peacefully at home on June 20, 2022 due to complications from Glioblastoma. He was diagnosed in February and fought vigorously for more time with his family. Mike was born October 16, 1954 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Thomas and Wanda Lee Osborne. He graduated from Haileyville High School then played football at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah. He and Jana Lea Addis were married February 15, 1980. They owned Osborne Trash Service and Osborne Rock and retired a few years ago. They enjoyed riding their Harleys and spending time at their other home in Shady Point, but their favorite place was with their children and grandchildren. Mike enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, driving around the country with his dog and of course, spending time out in his shop visiting with his buddies. He was also known as Santa Claus to many of the area children. Mike is survived by Jana, of their home; his children, Emilee (Eddy) Eppler, Broken Arrow, OK; Shanna (Brady) Barnett, Metairie, LA; Jeremy Dean Truelove, Lawton, OK; Katie (Jay) Littlejohn, Oswego; five grandchildren, Delaney Schofield, Cora Lynn Truelove, Shine Eppler, Jackson and Kynlea Littlejohn, sister-in-law Lou Stine, (Terry Martin) Shell Knob, MO, nephews, nieces and many, many wonderful friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Pat and sister Susan (McAlester). A memorial service will be held 10:00 a. m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p. m. , Friday, June 24, 2022.
