Michael Abaraham Gould was born May 28, 1955, in Worcester, Massachusetts, and passed from this earth on September 7, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona. He spent his formative years in Northbridge, Mass, with his parents Jean and Donald Gould and his four brothers, Francis Ferrie, Randy Ferrie, Donald D. Gould, and Dan Gould. Michael graduated from Northbridge high school in 1973. He enlisted in the Air Force and served from 1976 to 1992. While in the Air Force, Michael received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University, and went on to receive his Master's Degree from the University of New Hampshire. Michael served from August 1990 to August 1992 in Operation Desert Shield/Storm and was awarded Air Force Good Conduct Medal with two oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters, and NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon. Michael's last station assignment was to Luke Ari Force Base, in Arizona. Michael remained in Arizona following his service in the Air Force and went on to develop a 22-year career in Compliance and Risk Management for Charles Schwab. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Jean Gould, father Donald Gould and brother Donald D. Gould. Michael is survived by his husband of 30 years, Todd Deffenbaugh, brother Francis Ferrie and his family, his partner Lois, son Nate and his partner Megan, son Charles and his wife Mackenzie and their two children; son, Francis and his husband Primy , brother Randy Ferrie and his family, his wife Karen and their children, Cote, Carley, and Chelsea, her husband Greg and their four children, brother Dan Gould and his family, his wife Sharon and their son Dan and his wife Sarah.

Nacio en El Fuerte, Sinaloa, el 21 de junio de 1956, hija de Gloria Escalante Barreras y el fallecido Marin Mondaca. Ramona era una mujer carinosa que dio mucho a muchos. Era miembro de la Iglesia Oasis en el Desierto y pasaba muchas horas dedicada a la iglesia. Ademas de su madre, Gloria, a Ramona le sobreviven cuatro hijos: Alma (Viton) Taylor, Daniel (Dulce Estrella) Hernandez, Eiselda (Jesus) Garcia y Brenda (Jesus) Paredes, su hermano Manuel Mondaca y sus cuatro hermanas, Olga Scott, Maria Elena Mondaca, Elvira Mondaca y Patricia Mondaca. Tambien le sobreviven 18 nietos y 4 bisnietos. Familiares y amigos estan invitados a un servicio funerario el sabado 2 de diciembre de 2023 en Love International Ministries, 5201 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix a partir de las 9 a. m. Romans 8:38-39 Ramona A. Hernandez passed away on November 20, 2023 with her loving family surrounding her. She was born in El Fuerte, Sinaloa on June 21, 1956 to Gloria Escalante Barreras and the late Marin Mondaca. Ramona was a loving, caring woman who gave so much to so many. She was a member of Iglesia Oasis en el Desierto Church and spent many hours devoted to the church. In addition to her mom, Gloria, Ramona is survived by four children Alma (Viton) Taylor, Daniel (Dulce Estrella) Hernandez, Eiselda (Jesus) Garcia & Brenda (Jesus) Paredes, brother Manuel Mondaca and four sisters Olga Scott, MariaElena Mondaca, Elvira Mondaca & Patricia Mondaca. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Love International Ministries, 5201 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix beginning at 9AM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made toward her headstone.Show more

David Altman, 89, of Glendale, AZ, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones on November 23, 2023. Born on January 29, 1934, in Lansing, Michigan, he was known to his loved ones as Dick. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Grace (Cummings) Evans, and his father, David John Altman. He was a devoted husband to Joyce Altman, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. Dick is survived by his wife Joyce, as well as his children Sandra (Gary) Patchett of Glendale, AZ, Sharon (Eddie) Corral of Phoenix, AZ, and David Altman II of Akron, OH. He was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several cousins. Dick was a Veteran who served in the United States Army in Korea. Upon his honorable discharge, Dick attended Elkhart University in Elkhart IN. He cherished his time there and valued the knowledge and experiences gained during his studies. He had a distinguished career working in hospitals in Prescott, Page, and Wickenburg, AZ. Additionally, he spent 28 years at Freeport McMoRan, formerly Bagdad Copper Mine and Cypress Bagdad Copper Company, holding various positions including Lab and X-ray Technician, Hospital Administrator, and ultimately working in the Mill. Upon retirement, Dick and Joyce settled in Glendale, AZ, where they enjoyed traveling and being closer to their children and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on December 12, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. , Phoenix, AZ 85024. Heritage Funeral Chapel, located at 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. , Peoria, AZ 85381, will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
