Michael N. Giardina, 67, Johnstown, passed away September 8, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 6,1955 in Buffalo, NY. Son of Thomas V. and Mary G. (Slater) Giardina. Preceded in death by parents, brother Thomas R. Giardina, former wife Mary D. Mitchell. Survived by loving daughter Angelina; granddaughter Jade Adams; siblings, Carmela (Barry Davis), Louie (Mary Elizabeth), Jospeh (Fran), Raechel (Carl Horner); life long best friend/brother John "Bubba" Campbell of KY; also numerous nieces and nephews and his canine companion Maggie May. At his request, there will be no public viewing or service. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.

Scaife – Lois J. , 89, Mundys Corner, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 8, 1934 in Johnstown, PA, she is the daughter of the late Glenford Gordon and Hazel (Gray) Lenhart. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold E. Scaife Sr. ; sons, Harold E. Scaife, Jr. , Kenneth Scaife and Alan Scaife; daughter, Linda Adams; grandson, Joseph Adams. She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Greg Gallardy) Scaife, Glendale; son, Russel J. (Kathy) Scaife, Mineral Point; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Lois was employed at Good Samaritan as a Housekeeper for 19 years. She enjoyed crochet, bowling and traveling. Lois was foster grandparent for 19 years. The holidays spent in her home with family members were her favorite memories that she cherished. At Lois’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh. Private inurnment will be at Pike Grace Cemetery. Survived by children, Sharon (John P. Kovac, Jr. ), Johnstown; John (Deb Mottern), Michigan; James (Candi Owen), Geistown; Mark (Dianna Blough), Jerome; and Donna, Sidman; grandchildren, John Kovac, III, Shawn Felton, Joseph Fabrizio, Jason Fabrizio, Eric Fabrizio, Joshua Fabrizio, James Fabrizio, John Fabrizio, Jessica Zeglin, and Stephanie Valkovci, Joshua Keselak; numerous great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends received Monday from 10AM until the time of service at noon at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. , with Pastor David Streets officiating. Rebecca Ann "Becky" Bergin passed away on November 23, 2023, comfortably at home with her son and animals at her bedside after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. Becky was born September 30, 1954, in Baden, PA, and is preceded in death by her parents Charles W. (Bill) and Ruth Harding, brother Charles " Charlie" Harding, nephew PJ Bergin, and her son's father William J. Bergin. Becky is survived by her son, Dr. William A. Bergin, brother Mark (Donna) Harding, and sister-in-law Mary Ann Harding. Becky retired in 2018 after many years performing as a medical technologist in a laboratory at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Mckees Rocks, PA. Afterward, she immediately moved to Johnstown, PA. Becky always enjoyed and spent lots of quality time with her and her family's animals and volunteering at the Cambria County Humane Society. Everyone who knew Becky knew cats were always her favorite. In addition, she spent quality time sitting back with friends and families by campfires and holiday meals along with tailgating and going to Detroit Lions Thanksgiving and Pittsburgh Steelers football games.
