Michael James Rudy Easter, was born January 4, 1999 to Vicki Harris and Ambrose Easter. Michael passed peacefully at home, on September 29, 2023 at the age of twenty-four. Michael was surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous fight, battling Sickle Cell. Michael was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Waite High School in East Toledo. Michael had a challenging life, from the very beginning of life, due to being born with Sickle Cell. Despite his long journey of challenges he was a strong and loving person. Mike spent most of his time in and out of the hospital, with his loving mother and caregiver by his side for support and encouragement. When he was not in the hospital, he would rather be under his mother and enjoying her cooking. When Mike would have good days he would hang with his dad and watch basketball games. Michael looked up to his two sisters Iesha and Tamesha, and would always ask for their advice. Mike motivated his younger brother Lay'Quann and showered him with love and time. Michael was preceded in death by grandparents, James harris, Erma Harris Ewing, Mr. Ambrose Rudolph Easter, MaryAnn Vereen; uncles, Michael Harris, Scottie Harris, James Harris, Darre Harris, Sam Fields; aunt, Beatrice Fields; cousins, Sheila Fields, and Michael Harris, Jr. He is survived by his beloved mother and father, Vicki Harris and Ambrose Easter; special sisters, Iesha Avery, Temesha Avery; brothers, Ambrose Easter, Jr. , Lay'Quann Easter; nephews, Lewis Jackson, Armonte Rodgers, Antwan Phillips; godmother, Shawn Jones; favorite cousins, James Harris, Kevin Harris, Carmonii Brown, Casious Harris; close friends, James Born Brian Born, Antonio Harris Jr. , Jamari Croom, and C'Asjha Pratt Michael Easter will be missed.

Dolores "Jean" Hawn Holland passed away on December 1st at the age of 93. Jean was born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1930 to Foster Franklin Hawn and Anna Maria Norris Hawn, and graduated from Huntingdon High in 1947. Jean was small of stature, but larger than life. She strongly believed in manners and showing respect to others, and taught her family to do the same. She was known for her quick wit and loved to laugh and will be missed by many. Jean married Robert L. Holland in 1950 and together they had two children, Nancy Lou and Robert Wade. Jean worked most of her life in office management for several local businesses and enjoyed her work; but, always made time for her family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage and pinochle. She was an avid reader and loved to knit; and examples of her handiwork can be found in all her loved ones' drawers. After her husband passed, she spent her later years with her longtime companion Merle Greene. The two enjoyed traveling extensively in their motorhome and attending gatherings throughout the US. Jean is survived by her daughter Nancy H. Golde, grandsons Alex (Lora) and Nathan (Jennifer) Rhone and Aaron Holland. She joins again in eternity with her husband Robert and son Bobby. A tribute to Jean's life will be forthcoming in the new year in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Arleen Ann Sipes, 80 of Toledo died Thursday, November 30, 2023, atKingston Residence of Perrysburg. She was born June 16, 1943, inWauseon, Ohio, a daughter of William Russell and Mary J. (Ryder)Sipes. She was born 15 minutes before her identical twin sister Eileen. Arleen started working at her family produce stand in Toledo. She thenworked at Brodbeck Greenhouse and for many years until she retiredfrom Wenz Bros. Greenhouse. Arleen was a graduate of SpringfieldHigh School in 1961. Arleen loved writing her own songs and poems. She taught herself how to play guitar and loved to sing and tell jokes. She loved to fish and enjoyed spending time with her family. Arleen was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Elvis Presley fan. Arleen will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, baby brother, brother Glen D. Sipes, sisters, Janet (Glen) Wenz, Delores (Lawrence) Nachtrab and her twin Eileen (Daniel) Gedert. Born on June 25, 1960, to proud parents Donald and Marilyn Shefferly, Michael grew up in Toledo and went on to earn his High School Diploma, marking the beginning of a life filled with passion, dedication, and service to others. In a beautiful union on September 19, 1987, Michael married, Robyn Wenzl. Their journey together was marked by love, commitment, and countless shared adventures. As the founder and owner of MLS Roofing, Michael poured his heart and soul into his business, leaving a mark of professionalism and integrity in the community he served. Michael\u0027s commitment to service extended beyond his professional life. He served with honor in the United States Navy, embodying the principles of duty, loyalty, and courage. His dedication to our country was a testament to his character and sense of duty. A man of diverse interests, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His hobbies included fishing, camping, hunting, baseball, coaching his children's sporting events and anything that allowed him to embrace the great outdoors. Richard Kendall, age 77, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on November 28, 2023 at Landings of Oregon. Richard was born in Toledo to Ray and Irene Kendall. He started to work in high school and graduated from Waite High School in 1965. Richard went on to join the Air Force for 4 years and was a Sergeant. He traveled all over the world and was very proud of it. After the service, he went on to Libbey Glass as a machine operator for 38 years and retired in 2008. He was a member of Glass Bottles Blowers Association. Richard lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed cars, car racing, ice boating and sail boating, fishing, hunting, birding, traveling to Florida, and driving his 1970 Chevelle Malibu. In retirement, he enjoyed meeting with friends in Point Place and Maumee River fishing. He also enjoyed the Hollywood Casino and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his sisters, Betty Snavely and Dorothy Kendall; and nephew, Timothy Snavely (Donna); and great-nephew, Kyle Ottney (Jennifer). He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Irene Kendall and niece, Kimberly Snavely. Albert L. Gallagher, 72, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on November 29, 2023, surrounded by his loving family after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 26, 1951, in Toledo to Clarence and Mary (Baker) Gallagher. Al was a graduate of Macomber High School and served in the US Army at Fort Hood, Texas. Al worked at Ford's former Maumee Stamping Plant for 30 years, retiring in machine repair in 2007. He married Carol M. Elder on March 22, 1986, and together raised two children. Al always enjoyed making others laugh as much as he enjoyed laughing with family and friends. He treasured his friendships from the 401st MP Co. and UAW Local 1892. He was hard working and had a strong sense of service to his community and those less fortunate, serving on the Board of Trustees at the former Zion UMC where he and his wife were members and at various volunteer events in the Toledo area. Always quick with a story, he enjoyed interacting with his many customers as a driver at Ryan Pharmacy after retirement. Left to cherish Al's memory is his wife of 37 years Carol ( Elder) Gallagher; loving sons, Corey (Erin Murphy) Gallagher, Jacob Gallagher; sisters, Linda (Jim) Fencer, Pat (Jim) Opaczewski; brother, Tom Gallagher; sister-in-law, Cheryle Gallagher; and many dear friends and family. Al was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jimmy and Mike Gallagher.
