On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Michael Paul Charles passed away at the age of 38. He was born April 24, 1985, in Two Rivers, WI to Kenneth and Eileen (Bussiere) Charles. Michael graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers, Class of 2003. He attended UW - Oshkosh and obtained his bachelor's and master's degree from UW - Green Bay in education. Michael taught 2nd grade at Danz Elementary school and 3rd grade at Wilder Elementary school as a bilingual teacher. On April 7, 2018, he married Jenny Kroll at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; where he later was confirmed on April 3, 2021. He was always active: swimming, biking, skiing and competing in triathlons, even though he hated running. He was often found outdoors gardening, playing with his children and going for walks. He loved reading, building blocks with his children, and having spontaneous dance parties with Sydney. If not enjoying home life, he could be found at the cabin or cheering on his Packers and Brewers. He never said no to offering and lending a helping hand to friends or family. Michael was the most loving, kind-hearted and devoted husband, father, brother and son. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny; daughter, Sydney; son, Alois; mother, Eileen; brother, David (fiancee Erin Buchanan) Charles; parents-in-law, Mel (Debbie) Kroll; sister-in-law, Brittany Kroll; brother-in-law, Nick (Katie) Kroll; nieces, Amber and Summer; Godson, Abel. Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Sophia, and father, Ken. Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. , from 4 p. m. to 7 p. m. on Monday, May 15; Parish wake to follow at 7 p. m. Visitation will continue at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. , (The entrance is directly across from BP gas station on Glendale Ave. ), from 10 a. m. to 12 p. m. on Tuesday, May 16; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12 p. m. with Rev.
