Michael Leroy Bardwell 67, of Essex, Missouri died Sunday February 5, 2023. He was a loving Son, Brother and Uncle. Mike was born in Joliet, Illinois on April 9, 1955. He graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1972 and moved to Malden, Missouri in 1982 where he worked for Arvin Mfg. Co. in Dexter, Missouri. He loved to hunt, go fishing and just being outdoors. Mike is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Barreto, Donna Foster and Barbara Wise. One brother, Mark Lange, as well as six Nephews, one Niece, four Great Nephews and one Great Niece. He is proceeded in death by his Parents Robert and Mary Lange, two Sisters Cindy and Jackie and his dog Max. Graveside services will be held at Dexter Cemetery on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00 a. m.

Obituary of Roy Sanders Roy Glenn Sanders of Essex, Missouri born to the late Elmer Louis and Bessie Irene (Purcell) Sanders on April 04, 1942 in Essex, Missouri passed away on December 02, 2021 in his home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 79 years. Roy has been a resident of Essex, Missouri all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, getting out to visit friends and family. He loved to go to with his brother-in-law Jerry to eat lunch at the park in Dexter and watch the "squirrels". He was a founding member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. Roy married Elwanda Maddox in 1972 in Dexter, Missouri until her passing on April 17, 2006. Surviving is one daughter Ginger (George) Jaco of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one step daughter Linda Medlin of Essex, Missouri; three grandchildren Garrett (Linsey) Jaco of Arlington, Virginia, Garth Jaco of Arlington, Virginia and Gavin (Becky) Jaco of Ventura, California; four step grandchildren Jason Tomes of Essex, Missouri, Mandy Loftis of Essex, Missouri, Michael Medlin of Dexter, Missouri and Sammi Charest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; a very beloved dog Tanner. Roy was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Bessie Sanders and one daughter Tracy Lynn Sanders. A host of family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 04, 2021 from 10:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Obituary of Ellen Rogers Ellen Nadine Rogers, age 78 of Essex, Missouri passed away April 24, 2021 at her sons home near Essex, Missouri. Ms. Rogers was born August 23, 1942, in Libourn, Missouri to the late Thurman Walter and Minnie Louella Houchin Graham. She lived in Blodgett, Morley area loved raising her kids and cooking for her family, and was of the Christian Faith. Survivors include two daughters Joy Iliff of Morley, Missouri; Mamie Graham of Morley, Missouri; three sons Dale Graham, James Rogers both of Sikeston, Missouri Tommy Graham of Essex, Missouri; twenty one grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and 27 great great grandchildren; four brothers Albert Graham of Sikeston, T.W. Graham of Morley, Lawrence Graham and Donald Graham both of Sikeston, Missouri; six sisters Katherine Green of Sikeston, Frances Henson of Sikeston, Judy Reynolds of Piggott, Arkansas, Pauline Brock of Sikeston, Mary Pick of Millersville, and Dorothy Bradshaw of Sikeston, Missouri; and many friends and family also survive. She was preceded in death by two brother Clay and Dennis Graham. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 27, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri on Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro.
