Michael Leroy Bardwell 67, of Essex, Missouri died Sunday February 5, 2023. He was a loving Son, Brother and Uncle. Mike was born in Joliet, Illinois on April 9, 1955. He graduated from Joliet Central High School in 1972 and moved to Malden, Missouri in 1982 where he worked for Arvin Mfg. Co. in Dexter, Missouri. He loved to hunt, go fishing and just being outdoors. Mike is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Barreto, Donna Foster and Barbara Wise. One brother, Mark Lange, as well as six Nephews, one Niece, four Great Nephews and one Great Niece. He is proceeded in death by his Parents Robert and Mary Lange, two Sisters Cindy and Jackie and his dog Max. Graveside services will be held at Dexter Cemetery on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00 a. m.

Wanda Lee Gallamore of Dexter, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charlie and Opal (Grim) Wyatt was born on September 29, 1944, in Essex, Missouri, and passed from this life on April 20, 2023, in Gideon, Missouri, at the age of 78 years. Wanda has lived in the Southeast Missouri area all of her life. She enjoyed gardening, loved being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, especially spoiling her grand and great-grandchildren. She was of the Christian Faith. Wanda is survived by one son, Keith Wyatt of Dexter, Missouri; three daughters, Polly (Terry) Eaton of Bloomfield, Missouri; Tammy (Tim) Chadwell in Texas; and Rhonda Miller of O'Fallon, Missouri; two sisters, Dorris Hollis of Bloomfield, Missouri; Bonnie (Sam) Rodgers of Zalma, Missouri; a close personal friend, Rachael Sherrell; and a host of family and friends. William Kimbrel Jr

Mr. William "Bill" Kimbrel, 90, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Monday evening, March 13, 2023, after a recent decline in health. Bill entered this life on May 21, 1932, in Essex, Missouri, the only son born to the union of the late William and Marquerite (Howell) Kimbrel. He was raised in Dexter, Missouri and was a 1950 graduate of Dexter High School. He served in the Missouri National Guard for ten years, attaining the rank of Sgt. First Class. On October 12, 1963, he was united in marriage to Linda Fritchey and to this union one son was born, William, III. They resided in Sedalia, Missouri, for the majority of Bill's working career, retiring from W. J. Menefee Construction Company after thirty-two years of service. Following retirement, Linda and he moved to Joplin, Missouri, in 1993. He enjoyed mechanical engineering projects and was an excellent welder. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Kimbrel; and five sisters. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda Kimbrel of the home; a son, William Kimbrel, III and wife, Cristine; and two daughters, Willa Moser and Charlotte Riddle; as well as a host of other family and friends. Mr. William "Bill" Kimbrel, 90, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Monday evening, March 13, 2023, after a recent decline in health. Louie Oren Thomason, age 81 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Sunday, December 11, 2022, Born Wednesday, February 12, 1941 in Essex, Missouri, he was the son of the late Louie and Lorene (Stallings) Thomason. Louie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, and playing golf but his favorite thing to do was coaching football . He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Roberta Thomason of Cookeville, TN. Roy has been a resident of Essex, Missouri all of his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, getting out to visit friends and family. He loved to go to with his brother-in-law Jerry to eat lunch at the park in Dexter and watch the "squirrels". He was a founding member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri. Roy married Elwanda Maddox in 1972 in Dexter, Missouri until her passing on April 17, 2006. Surviving is one daughter Ginger (George) Jaco of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one step daughter Linda Medlin of Essex, Missouri; three grandchildren Garrett (Linsey) Jaco of Arlington, Virginia, Garth Jaco of Arlington, Virginia and Gavin (Becky) Jaco of Ventura, California; four step grandchildren Jason Tomes of Essex, Missouri, Mandy Loftis of Essex, Missouri, Michael Medlin of Dexter, Missouri and Sammi Charest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; a very beloved dog Tanner.
