In Loving Memory of Robert Alan Lyle Robert A. Lyle, a man whose life was a symphony of passion, laughter, and love, departed from this world on November 25th, 2023. Born on July 21st, 1964, Robb's journey was one defined by an unyielding zest for life and an unwavering commitment to the things he held dear. The son of late Rose and George Lyle, he is survived by his sister Kathryn LaFrance, his sister in law Carol Lyle, mother in law Anne Fryar, father in law Arthur Fryar, brothers in law Arthur and Robby Fryar, his two children Krystyna Lyle and Dylan Roberts, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his siblings Kevin Lyle, George Lyle, Roseanne Roy, and his wife Christine Lyle. A proud engineer, Robb dedicated his career to the marvels of space exploration, contributing his brilliance to the success of the TESS satellite. His work left an indelible mark on the scientific community, and his passion for unraveling the mysteries of the cosmos was truly inspiring. Beyond the realm of satellites and engineering, Robb was an avid guitar enthusiast, his fingers dancing on the strings to create melodies that echoed with his soul. The hum of his Harley-Davidson, slicing through the open road, was a familiar soundtrack to those who knew him. The freedom of the ride was a reflection of Robb's spirit - adventurous, untamed, and full of life. In the kitchen, Robb was a maestro, wielding his culinary skills with the same precision he applied to his engineering endeavors. A connoisseur of flavors, he delighted in preparing sumptuous meals for his beloved family. The joy he found in crafting each dish was surpassed only by the joy of sharing those meals around a table filled with laughter and love. Robb's wit and charm were the stuff of legend. His infectious humor could brighten the darkest of days, and his charisma endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. His presence, a magnetic force that drew people in, was a testament to the richness of his character. Family was at the center of Robb's universe. His love for his wife, Christine, was a guiding force in his life. Together, they shared a love that transcended time and space, creating a bond that was unbreakable. The white sands of Aruba witnessed the beauty of their love as they enjoyed cherished vacations, creating memories that will endure. As we bid farewell to Robb, let us celebrate the vibrant tapestry of his life - the cosmic explorer, the guitar virtuoso, the Harley rider, the culinary artist, the funny and charming soul. In our hearts, his laughter will echo, his melodies will linger, and his love will endure. A memorial service to honor Robb's life will be held on December 17th, from 12-4 at the Woburn Chateau. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, a cause close to Robb's heart. May Robb find eternal peace among the stars, and may the memories of his extraordinary life bring comfort and solace to those who mourn his passing.Show more
