Melvin Storm Obituary

"Melvin L Storm, 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and life partner, entered into God's eternal care Sunday, May 7, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on March 12, 1939 in Hanover PA, he was the son of the late Allen Storm and Bessie (Dephie) Storm; He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Daisybelle J Storm; and his brother Donald Storm. Melvin was a member of St David's UCC, UAW, VFW Post #2506, Hanover Home Association, and Republican Club. Melvin retired from Alloy Rods/ESAB after 33 years. Former proprietor of the Linden House Nightclub 1981 - 1989 and Storm's Excavating. He enjoyed playing miniature golf, the beach, and antique cars. Survivors include Kathy J Storm-Pressel and her spouse, Julie of Abbottstown, Daisybelle "Sis" Markley and her husband, Chris of York; three grand-daughters, Lisa Lindstrom and her husband, Kevin, Wendy Ruby, and Tasha Yates and her husband, Andrew; three great-granddaughters Teisha Ruby, Katie Mundorf, and Breanna Creamer; two great-great grandsons, Tavin Mundorf and Steven Ruby-Alvarez; one great-great granddaughter, Braylee Creamer; and Life partner Romaine Troutman. A service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home \u0026amp; Cremation Care Center, Inc. 311 Broadway with Rev. Scott A. Sager officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mount Rose Cemetery in York. Serving as pallbearers for the service will be Andrew J Yates, Caleb P Yates, Jeremiah J Yates, Kevin Lindstrom, Tavin Mundorf, Brian Creamer"
