Melvin is survived by LaVonne, his wife of 63 years; two sons--Rick (Carmen) Rohrbach of Roscoe and Jami (Karen) Rohrbach of Aberdeen, SD; one sister Delena (Arnie) Schumacher of Pierre, SD; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowdle, led by Pastor Janet Sandmeier. Interment follows at the Church Cemetery. Visitation commences 5:00 PM Thursday at Lien Funeral Home, Bowdle, with a 7:00 PM prayer service. Melvin's funeral will be livestreamed at the Lien Family Funeral Care Facebook page.
