Samuel R. Whitley Sr. "Sam" was called home to rest on February 14, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Whitley and his two children, Samuel Whitley Jr. and Jacqueline Whitley- Renteria. Sam is also survived by his grandchildren (whom he loved to spend time with), his stepchildren, and many other family members who loved him dearly. Sam retired as a state employee after working there for many years. He loved to listen to his oldies but goodies music, dance, sit on the porch, play cards, and go fishing. He will be deeply missed. We will have a memorial service for Sam on March 2, 2024, at 3:30pm. The memorial service will be located at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, located at 2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220.

Mr. Kimberley "Kim" Clarke Rucker, born November 23,1961, sunset on February 20, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard S. and Barbara S Rucker. Kim is survived by his three children, Kimesha, Levon, and Sean. He has five siblings Donald (Victoria), Cedric, Tony, Michelle and Diane, two aunts, Shirley and Alexis, four uncles, Caleb, Melvin, Michael, and Jon Satchell, Nieces, Nephews, a host of cousins and multitudes of friends from throughout the region. He was educated in the Richmond Public School System. Kim has been an independent contractor, craftsman and painter, going by the professional name "Picasso". He was also a diehard fan of the Washington Commanders, never failing to eagerly call his siblings when his beloved team beat the Dallas Cowboys, but never answering the phone when the Cowboys vanquished his team. Kim literally lit up a room, with a lighting memory for details, never forgetting the names of friends, neighbors and associates engaged over the years. If you knew Kim then you know that he was always the life of the party and would have you laughing into a stomachache.

Born in Richmond Virginia September 26th 1950, Carl is survived by his older brother William C.Belton Jr. and younger brother Wyatt Hampton Belton &Wyatt's Wife Gi Belton. His parents, (deceased) William 'Cullen' Belton Sr. & Sarah Lee Belton. Nephews, Lamont Belton, Israel Bey Belton, Makai Belton, & Malik Belton. Nieces, Anita Belton, Zotishia Belton, &Hope Watson. Great nieces & nephews, Ciara, Jordan, London, &Novi, A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Cousins, and friends. Carl was one of the most loved souls ever created by God. One of his friends said he's the only man she's ever met that was always consistent in the way he loved and treated people. Carl's favorite thing to do was dancing, he absolutely loved "James Brown" &"Al Green". If you went anywhere with Carl it was guaranteed that someone would know who he was.He will be extremely missed but always remembered.
