She departed from this world on September 08, 2023, leaving a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Melisa was born on February 05, 2003, a day that brought immense joy and hope into our lives. From the very beginning, she radiated a vibrant spirit that would continue to touch the lives of everyone she met. She was a loving daughter, sister, friend, and confidante, always ready with a smile to brighten our darkest days. She was also a bright and diligent student who pursued her dreams with determination. Her ambition and intelligence shone through in everything she set her mind to, and her dreams held the promise of a bright future that was tragically cut short. Melisa had a deep love for art, which was a source of inspiration and solace for her as she battled the devastating effects of osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Notwithstanding the challenges of her illness, her entrepreneurial spirit was manifested in the design and development of her unique line of moisturizing products, meticulously project managing packaging, branding and marketing. She had an uncanny ability to find beauty in the world's simplest pleasures, and her creativity knew no bounds. Although we mourn the loss of our beloved Melisa, we take solace in the memories we shared and the profound impact she had on our lives. Her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts, and we will forever cherish the love, laughter, and joy she brought into our lives. Melisa is survived by her grieving parents, Ian Yhap and Elisa Greaves, her adoring siblings, Monique (Cypha), Marcelle (Achim), Malakai, Monetta, Meira, Maya, Marley and McClain, her grandmother, Marjorie E. Cooper, her uncles and aunts, Elise Cooper, Gabriel Greaves, Charles Bright, John Kerkula, Jimmy Eid, Nada Bright, James Yhap, Jr. , Kedrick & Constance Brown, J. Bai and Amanda Paasewe, Katy Yhap, Joy Wong, Rich & Genevieve Zebro, Eric & Paulette Yhap and Grace Yhap. E. , Leesburg, Virginia 20175. A private family viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 4:00 to 5:00PM. As we say our final goodbyes to our beloved daughter, may we remember her for the bright and beautiful soul she was. Though her time on Earth was brief, her impact was immeasurable, and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in eternal peace, dear Melisa. You will always be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. "With a heavy heart, we say goodbye, but in our memories, you will forever reside. ""

Pepe Lucho "Oso" as everyone knew him, a great person and very noble since he was little. He was always overprotective but fearless at the same time. As a son he was mom's companion and support and then dad's loving friend and protector. As a brother he was an example, supportive and even disciplined when necessary. A great athlete, rowing, swimming, cycling and always in every competition with his "I can" attitude, he achieved all the goal he set up for himself. He went through very difficult times as well as some beautiful ones. He overcome the difficult ones with his "Warrior" attitude. He fought with his last breath not to leave without protecting his "pollita," a nickname he always used to refer to his little daughter, and his "reyna", a nickname he always used for his wife. His last challenge and greatest competition, he did it as "a warrior" fought until his last breath. From the day Mia was born until his last breath, she always held her "pollita" hand.Show more
