On April 19, 1986 a baby girl, Kendra Patrice Law was born to Kendall Law and Sylvia Neal in Compton, Ca. She was the oldest of five children. Kendra was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Perris High School and graduated with Honors. Her dreams were to be a fashion designer. She loved helping people so she became an in home caregiver. If you knew Kendra her passion was cooking and dancing. Teofilo G. Bacaltos, a man of profound love and unyielding spirit, was called home to the Lord on November 2, 2023. Born on March 28, 1950, in the beautiful city of Cebu City, Philippines, Teofilo found his final rest in Menifee, California, leaving a legacy of love and joy for all who had the privilege of knowing him. Known to us all as Teofilo, he was a man who wore many hats - a devoted husband, a loving father, a doting grandfather, a caring brother, and an industrious entrepreneur. Married to his beloved wife, Merlyn, for 45 rich and fulfilling years, their love story was one that inspired many. Together, they raised a beautiful family, filled with laughter and joy. His children - Lalenka Bacaltos Co (Victory), Joanne Bacaltos, Irvine Bacaltos, Shelby Bacaltos Laus (Manuel Jacob Laus Jr), and Kathleen Bacaltos Calub (Jasper Jason Calub) - were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was blessed with eight grandchildren - Mary Nicole, Xenita, Daniell, Miguel, Ethan, Manuel Jacob, Maxine Julia, Maia Jewel, and Summer Klaire - whom he loved dearly and took immense pride in their accomplishments. His two sisters, Asela and Victoria, held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his son Brian Bacaltos, whose memory he held close to his heart. Teofilo was a man who believed in hard work and dedication. For five years, he was the proud owner-operator of a medical supply store, serving his community with sincerity and compassion. His work ethic was something to be admired, and he instilled these values in his family and those he mentored. A man of diverse interests, Teofilo loved life and lived it to its fullest. He found joy in the simple pleasures - singing from his heart, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, staying informed through reading the newspaper, cheering on his favorite basketball teams, and even trying his luck with the lottery. His laughter was infectious, his humor unmatched, and his company sought after. When we think of Teofilo, we remember a man who was loving, funny, and friendly. His love knew no bounds - it was as vast as the ocean and as infinite as the sky. His laughter was the melody that brightened our days, and his friendly nature welcomed everyone into his life. He was the kind of man who turned strangers into friends, and friends into family. Brothers and sisters, as we gather here to remember our dear Teofilo, let us not dwell on the sorrow of his passing, but celebrate the joy of his life. Let us honor his memory by living out the values he held dear - love, laughter, and friendship. Let us remember him as he was - a man full of life, full of love, and full of joy. Jesse Johnson Jr

Obituary Jesse Johnson Jr. Jesse Edward Johnson Jr. was born on February 2, 1963; the youngest of two children born to Shizue and Jesse Johnson Sr. Jesse grew up in Santa Ana, California where he attended Lincoln Elementary School, Carr Intermediate School, and later graduating from Valley High School. Jesse was always known to be a bright kid and would always spend most of his free time competing in Judo. Between the ages of seven and thirteen, Jesse would become a black belt in Judo and take long trips with his father across state lines to compete in various competitions. When it was time to start high school, Jesse turned his interest towards another sport: Track and Field. He would go on to compete in the 1 10 high hurdles, low hurdles, high jump, long jump, and triple jump. He even went on to break his school's record jumping at 47'10" in the triple jump. Although he cherished many memories during his Track and Field days, his most memorable one was meeting and shaking hands with the 1936 Olympic Champion Jesse Owens at the Arco Jesse Owens Games. Aside from being very athletic, Jesse loved working on motorized airplanes, flying his kites, going bowling and skating with friends, riding his bike along the Santa Ana River Trail, and working on his photography skills. By 1985, Jesse began working at the Irvine Unites States Postal Service as a Postal Carrier. A year later, he would meet his beloved wife Joanna at a skating rink in West Covina. They would later get married on April 30, 1988, and go on to have two beautiful daughters: Nicole and Andrea. After working at the Irvine Post Office for eight years, Jesse transferred to the Lake Elsinore Post Office where he would eventually gain the title as, "The Best Mailman Ever" from all the routes he covered over the years. As time went on Jesse loved being a grandfather to his three wonderful grandchildren: DeShawn, Malia, and Cameron. He would also love hanging out with family and friends, going out to root for his two favorite teams: The Pittsburgh Steelers and LA Dodgers, testing out new recipes on his grills, and going out to buy the newest camera equipment. He would take beautiful photos at weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, graduation photos, and family portraits. He really had an eye for photography and would take his Canon camera with him everywhere to create new memories that we all can look back on and cherish. Jesse made an impact on everyone's lives he would come across. He was a good listener and was great at giving advice and making people laugh with his witty personality. He had a smile that would light up a room, and a loving spirit that will be eternally missed. Jesse leaved to cherish his memory, his wife Joanna, his two daughters Nicole and Andrea, his mother Shizue, and his grandchildren DeShawn, Malia and Cameron, his sister Julia, his nephews Robert and Kenneth, and lots of relatives and close friends who will miss him dearly and cherish all he had to offer. Fannie Jackson

Fannie Lou Jackson was born on February 8, 1927 in Faunsdale, Alabama. She was known for her loving nature, kind heart, and adventurous spirit. On May 30, 1946 in Union Town Pennsylvania, Fannie married William Albert Jackson. This union brought about much love, fond memories and continued for over 58 years. Fannie left this life to enter her Eternal Life on November 2, 2023, at the age of 96. Fannie's love for learning was evident from a young age. She was a devoted student, a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and went on to earn a master's degree in education. She then channeled her passion for learning into a successful 20-year career as a teacher, where she touched the lives of countless students with her wisdom, patience and understanding. Fannie's commitment to education left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of being her students. Her legacy as a teacher will continue to inspire future generations. In addition to her professional achievements, Fannie was a woman of diverse interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life such as reading, cooking and traveling. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore various parts of the world, each journey enriching her life with new experiences and perspectives. Fannie also had a deep appreciation for music. She found solace in soothing rhythms of Jazz, R&B, and the Blues. Her love for music was infectious, often setting the tone for family gatherings and celebrations. Fannie's life was a testament to her loving nature and kind heart. She faced every challenge with grace and courage, treating every triumph with humility. Fannie's essence was a beacon of inspiration to all who knew her, encouraging them to embrace life with open arms and an open heart. Fannie is survived by her sons James Avery Jackson and Morris Anthony Jackson. She was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Her family were the center of her world and she was the heart of theirs. Fannie's love for her family was boundless and she often expressed it through her delicious home-cooked meals and her unwavering support for their endeavors. Fred Robles was born September 3,1978 in Riverside, California. His father and mother resided in Cabazon, California. Fred is pre deceased by his father, Jody Robles and his mother Lupe Martinez. Fred is survived by his loving grandmother, Lucy Sanchez, of Idyllwild Ca and his four siblings Elisabeth Mora, of Mission Viejo, Ca, Joe Mora and wife Shana Mora, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Cecilia Touslee and husband Todd Touslee of San Marcos, Ca, & LuzOlivia Burnside and husband Ronald Burnside, of Colorado Springs, Co. He had six nephews & three nieces, Elijah Burnside, Jasmine Rosadillo, Shanice McFerran, Michael Barnum, Emmanuel Mora, Christian Mora, Zion Barnum, Roman Burnside and Samara Burnside. He had two aunts Theresa Martinez and Maria Martinez. Fred attended school in Banning, Ca. Many of his childhood friends were still in his life today. He would hang out at their homes and their moms became like second moms to him. As they grew up, they did everything together. Even as adults, they always kept in touch. Fred worked in retail for many years. He loved working at Macys department store, where he was the manager over several different departments throughout the years. Freddy moved to Idyllwild and got a cute little cabin to live with his grandmother and mother. He really enjoyed being in the mountains and loved the town in general. He loved his cats and he enjoyed having friends over to cook for them. He worked at the local store in Idyllwild, Village Market - Deli & Pizzeria, where he met many new friends. Fred was a great employee and of course he always had that big smile on his face. He loved making people happy and he never met a stranger. He would do anything for anyone. He loved to travel and his favorite place was New York. He went a couple of times to see one of his best friends. He absolutely loved it there and had plans to go again soon. He loved telling stories about the destinations he visited. His stories were filled with dramatic facial expressions and hand gestures. You felt like you were there too as he brought you into his journey. He loved to tell stories of when he and his best friends got together. Even if you never met any of his friends, you felt like you knew them through their adventures with Freddy. He had so many wild adventures with so many different friends in so many different cultures and backgrounds. He had to many to mention them all and yet he fit in perfectly with everyone he encountered. He had the biggest personality and his laughter was contagious. He loved to entertain people whenever they were around. He had a servants heart. He always cared for others first and put their needs before his own. He was always the life of the party. He always had perfect comedic timing. His reactions and facial expressions were top notch. He enjoyed watching soap operas with his mom and they had watched them together for the last 3 decades. His passion was Madonna. He loved her music, he loved her. It's safe to say, he was her biggest fan. He loved karaoke and was not shy about it. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him for his sense of humor, his huge smile and laugh, his generous spirit and his humble demeanor. He never met a stranger. If you met him, you instantly liked him. If you loved him, you were family. Young, old, rich or poor, he was friends with everyone. This world will not be the same without him in it. However, heaven gained a beautiful soul and ray of sunshine that will forever shine down on us from above. His memory will bring us all closer together and give us a glimpse of joy and happiness whenever his name is mentioned. A celebration of life will be held in memory of Freddy, on November 24, 2023 at 1pm by all of his family and friends with a special bouquet of balloons being released from Idyllwild "The Point" to heaven in honor of his life. Anyone who is not able to be there, will be on FaceTime and release balloons at the same time from their location. The town of Idyllwild can join with this celebration if they wish. He will forever be missed and his memory will live in our hearts. Helen Louise Reynoza, 82, of Lake Elsinore, California, passed away on November 1, 2023. She was born on November 25, 1940, in California. Helen was a pillar of the community of Redlands and moved to Lake Elsinore later in life. Helen was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and teacher. She loved fiercely and always made everyone feel special. Helen had a beautiful voice and knew every song. Helen is survived by her children, Robert Hernandez, Sylvia Caudill, Rebecca Clancy, and Gina Rivera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Joseph Reynoza, and her daughter, Paula Hernandez. After a fulfilling career of over 20 years, Helen retired from the Redlands Unified School District. She dedicated her time and energy to shaping young minds and making a positive impact on her community. Helen's primary school education was at Franklin Elementary, and she later attended Redlands High School. She worshipped at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. In her free time, Helen enjoyed singing, a hobby that brought her great joy throughout her life. So much that she directed the Children's choir at church for many years. Helen also taught crafts at the Senior Center and worked with the Purple Turtles too. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023, at 11:00 am at Holy Name Of Jesus Catholic Church (the old St. Mary's Church) located at 1205 Columbia Street, Redlands, CA 92374. A reception area will be available after the funeral mass. Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, CA, is assisting with the arrangements. She was born in a small town in Jalisco Mexico, daughter of Ramon & Calletana Franco, we were honored and blessed to call her our Mother, wife , sister and friend. She grew up with 3 sisters and five brothers and always described a beautiful childhood. My mother grew to have a huge roll in her family. Once my grandfather grew old and ill, she was forced to take a lead in her family a provide financially and emotionally. I believe this upbringing gave and provided my mother with the characteristics she was loved by many. She was such a strong, independent confident women. She lived many years caring for her family unselfishly holding her life on pause. Once she was able to feel that she could move on from her calling and the demand that she needed to withstand. She moved her life to the united states where she continued to be that strong independent women working to take care of herself and likewise continue to provide for her loved ones. She then met the one that would be considered the love of his life and with the love from one of the other would flourish two beautiful children one more than other of course, lol. My mother, even though she did not know what she was expecting or had one clue what she had signed up for, she in my eyes nailed it. To me her calling was to be our MOM. She always said we were her life. she meant ever single bit of that. She lived for us, she worked endlessly to be a loving wife, mother and friend. She never showed signs of weakness or pain. She loved 110 percent always looking out for us and wanting the best for us. She always used to say how lucky she was to have such good kids, but little did she know we were the lucky ones to have a perfect mother. We all stand here today to celebrate a life, a life with so much purpose. a life that showed us compassion unselfishness, humbleness and how to love. I want to always remember my mother as she was to me. She is my soul, the one who showed me purpose, the one that showed me what it means to live and how. I will always live for others as my mother did. And continue that life lessons to my children and grandchildren and so on. Just remember That this life is a gift and it's up to you to share that gift with the world as I feel my mother did.
