Mrs. Melba Stewart McNiel, 81 of Delhi was born in Iowa, LA on January 26, 1942 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Delhi. Melba is preceded in death by her parents, Francis Marion Stewart and Tressie Lee Loftin Stewart, her husband Bobby McNiel,her daughter Rita Antley, two sons James Edward and Roger Lee McNiel; a granddaughter Kristy Leah Nettles; a great grandsonMichael Ashton Nettles and a sister Frances McMurray. She is survived by a daughter Becky Delores Broussard and a son Darren Eugene McNiel of Livingston, TX; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson along with numerous nieces and nephewsVisitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 4-7 at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi. A funeral service will be held in Livingston, TX later.
