Meade Sexton Obituary

Meade Sexton, age 82, of Niobrara, Nebraska died Saturday, April 22, 2023, in Niobrara. Services will be held at a later date. Brockhaus Funeral Home in Niobrara, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements. Meade E. Sexton was born on July 20, 1940, in Plainview, Nebraska to Earl L. and Georgia I. (Knight) Sexton. He attended Lynch High School and after graduating entered the Air Force. Meade married Vonda in December of 1969. Together they had six children. In 1973, the family returned home to the dairy farm. Meade's greatest love was for family and books, of which he found no constraints. Meade also enjoyed fishing, boats, aircraft, and history. Meade was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bruce; and daughter-in-law, Renea. He is survived by his siblings, Rosalie, Glade, Judy, and Larry; his children, Nancy (Mike) Crosley, Denise Kellar, David Sexton, Diane (Tim) Crosley, and Jason (Rose) Sexton; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
