Mckay Matheson Obituary

Marheson, MacKay 1938 -2023 The death of McKay (Mac) Matheson occurred on April 22, 2023 at 6:30 am. Mac was born in Jubilee, Nova Scotia, on February 26, 1938 to the late Charles and Mary Jane (Smith) Matheson. He was retired from Ford Motor Company where he held different positions in Oakville Ontario, Alberta and Detroit. He was the fleet sales Manager for the Western Region. Mac was a past member of the Little Narrows Presbyterian Church of Nova Scotia, Masonic Lodge and Philae Temple Shriners of N. S. He was deeply interested in politics and sports but his passion was family & friends. He was well known everywhere for a wicked sense of humour. Mac is survived by wife Dorothy Eleanor daughter's Virginia (Kevin Murphy), Lori Jane Macquarrie, grandchildren Danielle, Katelyn & Gregory Murphy, James & Jessica Macquarrie and his five great grandchildren. Leaving to mourn brothers Carleton, Sidney, sisters Jessie & Janie. He was predeceased by siblings Maymie, Angus, Johnnie, Charles, Ernest, Walter & Rose. No visitation or funeral by his request.
