Shelby J. (Wagaman) Leister, 72, passed Saturday, March 2, 2024, at UPMC Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Gary L. Leister, her husband of 46 years. Shelby was born May 29, 1951, in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late Harris C. and Pauline E. (Byers) Wagaman, Sr. Shelby was a member of New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, where she was a bartender for more than 30 years. In addition to her husband Gary, Shelby is survived by three sons, David H. Jones and his wife Virginia of San Jose, CA, Bobby C. Jones and his husband Jamie of Baltimore, MD, and Nicholas L. Leister and his wife Karen of New Oxford, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five brothers, Donald Wagaman and his wife Charlotte, Dennis Wagaman and his wife Jin, Robert Wagaman and his wife Wanda, Jeffrey Wagaman and his wife Linda, and Philip Wagaman and his wife Diane, and two sisters, Janet Bankert, and Cherry Leister and her husband Larry. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald Wagaman and Harris Wagaman, Jr, and three sisters, Kathy Wagaman, Shirley Taylor, and Phyllis Quigley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. Jo Ann Oyler, 71, of Hanover, PA, passed away on February 16, 2024, in her residence. She was born March 27, 1952, in Westminster, Maryland. Jo Ann worked at Gettysburg College in the cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. In her spare time, she loved to travel, and be outside. She loved spoiling her grandkids, loved people, and her furry companion, Gracie.Surviving is her husband, Terry Oyler of Hanover; children, John D. Hoshall and A.J. Briggeman; step daughters, Kelly Stanley and Teresa Sanders; eleven grandchildren; and two siblings. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her grandson, Brennon, who passed away in 2015. Karl Melvin Wantz, 62, of Hanover, PA passed away peacefully on February 17th, 2024 at York Hospital. He is the son of the late Dorothy and Melvin Wantz from Westminster, MD. He was born and raised in Westminster, MD and was once a reporter of the Evening Sun Newspaper and enjoyed writing articles and taking pictures. He was also a member of Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren in Westminster, MD. Through his adult younger years, he loved sports and was on a few leagues all including volleyball, softball, bowling, roller skating and used to run a volleyball league. He knew many tricks and turns with roller skating too. He worked many years at the Lowe’s in Maryland serving hot dogs to the community and was well known as “The hot dog man”. He loved Nascar and sprint car racing and was a fan of Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove and even worked part-time at the tracks at times because he loved it so much. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and writing his own music. He played in a few bands with friends for fun and enjoyed bluegrass music and going to bluegrass festivals. Karl loved to spend time at the Bizzy Bee Warehouse in Littlestown, PA. He loved his family and friends. He was also a Hanover Moose Member and a member at The Hanover Home Association. Karl is survived by his daughter, Katie Ault and her husband Shawn; brother Doug Wantz and his wife Angela; 2 grandchildren Brennon and Brayton Ault; and grand dog named Roxy Ault. Family will receive friends for a visitation at Meadow Branch Church of the Brethren, 818 Old Taneytown Rd., Westminster, MD. on Tuesday, March 5th 2024 from 9-11am where a Celebration of Life will follow at 11am. The family asks if anyone has a racing t-shirt/sweatshirt, Baltimore Ravens shirt/sweatshirt, Orioles shirt, a bluegrass or music festival, or anything that Karl loved and enjoyed that they’re more than welcome to wear it to honor him on that day. Born March 17, 1931, in Adams County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd S. and Helda (Frock) Clouser. She was the loving wife of Richard E. Druck, Sr. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on July 14th. Betty was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Hanover, PA. Betty is survived by her four children, Theresa Rouse, Richard E. Druck, Jr., Tina Kessler and her husband Fred, and Patricia Lentz-Gott and her husband Todd, all of Hanover; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Reda Gotwalt. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Earl Clouser, David Clouser, Annamae Abbott, and Roma Gage. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Jeffrey was the loving husband of Debra L. (Senft) Markle with whom he shared 13 years of marriage. Jeffrey was a 1969 graduate of Hanover High School. He worked as a material specialist at Caterpillar in York for 15 years until his retirement in 2023. Jeffrey was a member of Hanover First Church of God, Hanover, PA, where he was on the First Aid Team. He was also a member of The U.A.W. Local 1872. Jeffrey was an avid NASCAR and Sprint Car racing fan, as well as a Baltimore Ravens fan. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and spending time with family. In addition to his wife Debra, Jeffrey is survived by two children, Jennifer Markle of Florida, and Jamie Cox of Hanover, PA, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Barbara Marsh and husband Bob and Dory Bankert and husband Dick all of Hanover, PA. Rohrbaugh who passed away on June 23, 2008; together they shared 62 years of marriage.Erma was born in Hanover on November 24, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Bruce and Alma (Miller) Ruhlman. She was a mail carrier for most of her life and was a member of the Spring Grove Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.Erma is survived by her brothers Robert Ruhlman and John Ruhlman; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Sterling Ruhlman and Cletus Ruhlman.A Memorial Service in celebration of Erma’s life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00PM at the Spring Grove Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness, 1595 Jefferson Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362. He is also survived by his siblings Bailey Lawrence, Rowan Lawrence, Willow Lawrence, Layken Lawrence, and Amaya Branick; his maternal grandparents James Lawrence and wife Luanne and Jeri Lucich and husband Stephen; his paternal grandparents Joseph and Tracey Despines; his aunts Katie Christian and Ashley Christian; his uncles Aaron Christian Alec Dixon, Connor Lucich, Nathan Despines, and Dylan Despines; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.Cadence had so much fun watching his brothers and sisters play. He was the most bright eyed and smiley little boy; he was constantly smiling on all occasions. "Jim Masenheimer, 71, of Hanover, loving husband of Linda A. Masenheimer, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Born on Saturday, August 9, 1952 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Edward F. Masenheimer, Jr. and Margel Hutter Masenheimer. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward F. Masenheimer, III; and a son-in-law, Brian Zinn. A 1970 graduate of Hanover High School, Jim was employed by Riddle’s Appliance and Repair before opening his own business, Hanover Appliance. He later retired from Utz Quality Foods and then worked as a bus driver for the Littlestown School District. Jim was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association, New Oxford Social Club, McSherrystown Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #720, Brushtown Athletic Club, and was a life member of the Brushtown Volunteer Fire Department and Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services (SAVES). Even though he enjoyed camping, his greatest joy was spending time with family and playing miniature golf with the grandchildren. In addition to, Linda, his wife of 52 years, he is survived by two daughters, Missy Zinn and Michelle Kopp and her husband, Jason, all of Hanover; four grandchildren, Sr. Airman Alex Kopp, USAF, Brandon Zinn, Abby Kopp, and LCPL Matthew Zinn, USMC; a sister-in-law, Jean Masenheimer; two brothers, David “Whitey” Masenheimer and his wife, Linda, and Robert Masenheimer and his wife, Shirley; a sister, Cheryl “Toot” Worley and her husband, James; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Drive in Hanover by The Rev. Dwight Schlaline. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 5 to 8:00 PM Friday at Panebaker Funeral Home \u0026amp; Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover. Pallbearers will be Alex Kopp, Brandon Zinn, Matt Zinn, Dan Geiselman, Josh Masenheimer, Dave Masenheimer, Tom Hartlaub and Dave Staub. Dennis Robert Rinehart, age 74, of Hanover, PA, died on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born November 26, 1949, he was the son of the late Monroe and Grace (Weishaar) Rinehart. He was the husband of Doris (Shuff) Rinehart, his wife of 52 years. He served in the United States Army and completed a tour of Duty during the Vietnam War. He Retired from Littlestown Foundry in 2015 after 39 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, crabbing, spending time in his garage and family cookouts. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Sherry Rinehart and fiancé Rob Bream, and Pamela Rinehart; sister-in-law Cathy Covington and husband Steven, who was like a brother; grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Justin, Olivia, Dakota, Josh and Kaleigh; great-grandchildren, his side kick Wyatt Fritz, Collin, and Skyler; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Francis and Kenneth Rinehart; half siblings, Fred Weishaar and Shirley Few. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, MD 21787. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.

Born August 31, 1933, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ross A. and Grace N. (Sterner) Sipe. Patricia was the loving wife of the late Ronald E. Sheaffer, with whom she shared fifty-five years of marriage until his passing February 22, 2015. Mrs. Sheaffer was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Hanover, PA. Patricia was a 1951 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA. Mrs. Sheaffer retired from the Hanover Public Library, where she served as a librarian for over fifty years. Most of her career was as a children’s librarian and many of the children in the Hanover Area referred to her as the Library Lady. Patricia enjoyed reading, gardening, music, and spending time with her family. Patricia is survived by her children, Gregory Sheaffer and wife Lori of York New Salem, PA, Todd M. Sheaffer of Hanover, PA, and Karalee G. Sheaffer of Mount Pocono, PA; two grandchildren, Amanda C. Sheaffer and Andrew J. Sheaffer; a brother, Ross A. Sipe and wife Roberta of Hanover, PA; and a sister, Sandra Feeser and husband Frank of Winter Garden, FL. Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate and remember Pat will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday February 29, 2024, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, with Rev.
