"Maudie Louise Fenwick, 84, of Winters, passed away Friday, May 05, 2023 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene. She was born on March 29, 1939 in Kerrville, Texas, where she was raised until moving to Winters. Maudie spent her entire career at Dry\u0027s Manufacturing, before retiring in 2004 to become a full-time \u0026quot;Granny\u0026quot;. Maudie was far from your typical Granny. In 84 years, she never stood over 5 feet tall, but what she lacked in height, she made up for in spunk. She loved working outside, making people laugh, the Dallas Cowboys, Dolly Parton and George Jones. But most of all, she loved her family. A memorial service will be held at the Winters Funeral Home Chapel at 11am on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene. "
