Matthew Rowton Obituary

Our beloved father Matthew Dewayne Rowton passed away peacefully in his home on May 4th, 2023 at the age of 58. Matt was born in Paragould, Arkansas on July 24th, 1964 to Aubrey and Sandra Rowton. Matt is survived by his loving children, Jessica Rowton, Nathaniel Rowton, Samantha West, Katie Pruitt and Abbigayle Rowton; 9 grandchildren, Kiley, Ayden, Jaxson, Hailey, Emmett, Callum, Dallas, Greyson and Callie; mother, Sandra Rowton; sister Ellen Rowton Mahan; nephew- Andrew and niece-Megan; brother from another mother Gary McGuire. He was preceded in death by daughter Elisha Jo, father Wayne Rowton, and nephew Micah Mahan. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12pm until the graveside memorial service at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
