Matthew Mishan Obituary

"Our beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend, Matthew Mishan, passed away peacefully in his sleep from a heart attack on Friday, September 8, 2023. As a son to Rosanne and Steven, and a brother to Meredith, he was always there for his family. He was his grandmother, Ruth's, first and favorite grandchild and she is no doubt greeting him in heaven. He was the best uncle to his niece, Mia, and nephew, Benjamin, and an adopted Uncle to all of the kids in his life. He has left his family and friends heartbroken but filled with so many wonderful memories. In Matthew's 46 years, he traveled the world, had many adventures, and lived life to the fullest. He was a passionate Miami Hurricanes football fan, who supported them in good times and bad. Matthew worked most of his professional career at Key Bank and was loved by all his colleagues. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree and Emory University for his MBA, where he made so many lasting friendships. He is survived by his mother and father, Rosanne and Steven Mishan, his sister and brother-in-law, Meredith and Jim Silver, niece and nephew, Mia and Benjamin Silver, aunts, uncles, friends, and all of his cousins who were like siblings.
